OMG your nature stories...
Every morning on the news there is another story about some business that will be forced to close if they can't find employees, here too. Cape Cod sounds like they are in terrible shape as we head into tourist season!

I'm not a fan of snakes...once I was at my aunts farm and while walking came upon a rattle snake...I was morbidly obese at the time and I ran faster than I thought I could.
Glad to hear they were non venomous!!

Happy Wednesday everyone. Yesterday's trip to Costco was a success. I met so many nice people when I was out and about. I was able to keep the driving anxiety in check too. Someone last week suggested doing math to keep your brain occupied when feeling anxious. I found myself singing multiplication tables when passing semis. I think it helped.
I did so well with food yesterday. Looking forward to another great day. It works best for me if I just keep it simple.
QOTD- Anywhere that is by water.
Food plan for today-
2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese
Rotisserie chicken with sugar free bbq sauce
baked cod in parchment paper, seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and fresh thyme. ( this is my new favorite) baked at 400 degrees for 15 minutes)
boiled egg or chomps if I need a snack
Have a great day everyone. I am headed out for my walk before it heats up.
We have been having the Tripletail that we caught in Florida in parchment paper. It's so good.

So good to see you here in the morning JB! I need to detox and get on an eating plan since I have been acting as if I was on vacation since I met Mike 10 months ago. But we are leaving for 2 weeks in Aruba on Saturday so it will have to wait until we are back. For those wondering about whether it is wise to travel there, Aruba has the second highest vaccination rate in the world (just below Israel). Though their Covid rate is higher than the US, they are still maintaining some restrictions though the most onerous ones have been dropped. Mike and I are getting Covid tested today in preparation for our Saturday flight and will be tested again before we return. And of course we are both fully vaxxed.
QOTD: I was going to say that I'd want to be in a place like Hawaii (which Mike and I may go to in January). But then when I read yours, I thought of Florence, Italy. I was only there for 3 days during my 2011 trip, but I so wanted to see more!
Note that the plan below looks good, but the out to dinner part will make or break it.
TSS: 5 years, 2 months
B: Coffee!!! Egg and cheese on light toast
L: leftover swordfish
D: oysters and fish (out to dinner at a great local restaurant)
S: cottage cheese and nut thins

Hiiii! So great to see you. Glad to hear things are still going well with Mike. Your vacation sounds like just what the doctor ordered for those of us just climbing out of this pandemic :)
