It is beautiful! I stayed at a place between Jasper and Banff called Becker's cabins. Holy smokes that area is just gorgeous!

Good morning, everybody!

Kind of a quick post for me because I have a doctor's appointment this morning. I had some nuts and sugar free pudding yesterday, which were not on the CAMAW plan. The jerkies arrive on Thursday, at which point it should be easier to find a compliant snack.

It's been great to see the thread stretching to 4 or 5 pages lately.

QOTD: This is a good question. I don't mind being alone, and I am pretty easily amused, so just about anywhere could work. I think that if I was by myself, I would like somewhere that speaks English at least as a second language. So all of the European culture capitals would work. Or fishing in Costa Rica. There is a club for hiking all of the 4,000 foot mountains in New Hampshire, so I could be happy doing that. Although, it wouldn't use much of the unlimited budget, LOL.

Breakfast: omlette

Lunch: Steak

Dinner: Ham

Have a great day, all!

Last time I was in Paris I realized that I could probably move there without ever mastering French. It's really remarkable how every waiter and store employee speaks fluent English. But I also watched Emily in Paris on Netflix, and I don't want to be that girl... haha.

hey all

yesterday went well though scale up a bit but that's normal. I helped DH after work, we ordered a dumpster for the bar, had a lot of tree work that the guys wanted to charge another 1k to haul off, no thanks we can do that ourselves plus clean up the shop/garage at the same time. Well DH is still recovering from back surgery sooo. maybe not the best time for him to be chainsawing pvc pipe and limbs. plus NO ONE wants to work in this area. restaurants are forcibly closing dining because they cant get staff.

today I would like to go to the gym - but- I need to be on limb patrol with DH since the dumpster comes tomm at noon and we need to be done. BTW, DH found a den of snakes yesterday, and a bear was in our driveway last evening. some nature for you.

QOTD: NYC (for bleeker street pizza, and cannoli's and cheesecake) and shopping and art, or belize so that I can paddleboard, ride horses, sleep, and eat conch fritters and drink coconut milk all day.

food:

coffee/water

more coffee/water

chicken sausage/cheese/joseph 60 cal pita

dinner is either pork chops or personal pizza

not sure what else.

What kind of snakes?? There is a snake that likes to lounge in my flowerbed by my front door. I often find myself using the back door when it is there. I'm not sure how I would deal with a den of them.
