You are doing great, no reason to change. My recollection is that you were one of the few who survived the holidays unscathed.

Everything about your home and neighbors is sooooo foreign to me! As someone in a very densely packed city in Massachusetts, I cannot imagine a world in which someone shoots off guns, or the copies amount of bears in your life... I basically picture you living in a National Geographic special. ;)

Good morning! I'm impressed about the brownies JB, woohoo!!! I'm in the office today also. My office days are T/W/Th and I telecommute on M/F -for now anyway. I think it may change soon. I don't really like working form home because everything is that much more difficult to do on a laptop so I prefer my sweet office set up but I sure enjoy doing it in my PJ's at home!

We had a nice very chill weekend. Yesterday day 1 of (C)AMAW for me was a success. I stayed as busy as I could so I didn't think about food constantly. My house is very clean!! My son came over and all we watched Cruella (FABULOUS) and BBQ'd burgers and dogs. It was really nice. I had more beef jerky than planned but ate a little less at lunch/dinner than I thought I would. No wine since Saturday!

QOTD - I like most of my neighbors, they are all very friendly except the ones to the left. Maybe I watch too many murder shows, but there is something off about that family. The husband/dad is a bit scary and the daughter always has her head down and looks so sad. Also, they have 2 dogs and NEVER walk them (we have no yards to speak of where we live).

I agree JB - Office days are easier for planned eating!

Water/vitamins/no soda/no wine/mindful

E- 30 minute walk on my break, gym after work for an ice breaker workout.

Have a wonderful day ya'll!

Mernin errybody!

QOTD - We have amazing neighbors in front, my hubs and the man have a great bromance! We watch out for each other's packages, dogs, etc. They are truly good people, good kids, we are very fortunate. People behind us, same thing. Older people, very kind, etc.

Breakfast, fasting, so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - not sure, eating out as I didn't bring anything. Something veggie, something yummy.

Snack - mandarins and pepitas

Dinner - Crispy air fried tofu, pasta and some sauteed veggies on the side. Pretzels and *****in' sauce.

Have a great day everyone!

Christina

Good Morning. The morning is getting away from me. I am in my bathing suit, supposed to be 90 here today. Not sure if I am just going to sunbathe or head towards water.

Went for a deep tissue/sports recovery massage yesterday. Body has been complaining about workouts. Helped lower back, my upper back/shoulders still ache.

Go AMAW!! ... I know it is a good kick start for many, but I am not in...the rebound sucks for me... and mentally not good.

QOTD: I had great neighbors in NY, Two of my best friends for over thirty years were on my block. I live on a nice block here in FL, and while I have met some neighbors, I do not really know them yet.

Food:

  • lemon blueberry protein pancake
  • egg and cheese quesadilla
  • chicken and salad
  • pita pizza
  • Chicken and veggies
  • Casein

Ex: Not sure because of soreness, but will absolutely do at least 30 minutes of stretching and bodyweight exercises.

Yeah I am trying so hard not to play head games with myself about AMAW. It was very unhealthy for me in prior years but this time I am doing a lot of self talk about not being "bad" if I am not 100%. Hoping I just get the happy benefits of detox and not the soul crushing anxieties this time, lol.

The couple across the street used to be good friends with my husband about 30 years ago. But now they are in some stage of dementia and although still able to take care of themselves, do not remember me anymore.

The lady next door to me passed away a few years ago and her sons turned the house into an Airbnb. So there are people coming and going constantly. There is a family that moved catty corner across the street last year that has a bunch of kids who are always out shooting baskets in the evening and sound so happy.

There are a lot of nice younger couples in the neighborhood and I wave at their kids and dogs but really don't know many of them. My friend who went to school with me lived right down the street, but her husband passed away and she sold the place and got a condo. A lot of my friends are selling their homes and buying condos in senior citizen areas. Some of them are selling their homes and moving in with their kids.

I was born here and lived here my entire life, but cities change with time.

Hello

it appears that there are a lot of "old" members returning to the site. That is great. I enjoy reading everyone's posts. Another work day today so no exercise. It is interesting that I seem hungry on the days that I work but I can be home and never be hungry. The good thing is that I only eat what I bring to work.

QOTD: my direct neighbors I only know enough for causal conversation and hellos. There are several neighbors that we know pretty well.

B: fit &light Greek yogurt

L: 1/3c chicken tikka 1/4c cauliflower

D: 2oz lean hamburger with 1/2 slice cheddar & jalapeño

S:!protein drink, chocolate frozen yogurt with 1/4 c blueberries

E: none today

QOTD- My neighbors on the right sold their house and moved to Mexico, they were fabulous neighbors. A mother and grown daughter, they had a 1 bedroom apartment downstairs. They were always friendly and great to talk to. On the other side the people walked away from the house and it sat empty for over a year. Now there is a young couple with 2 year old twin boys and an English Bulldog. I'm like Jen and others I know the animals names but not the peoples.
