Good morning everyone and happy June! I love that it's June. My son will be coming home for a visit at the end of the month and will be headed to his next duty station, which is about 4 hours away. We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. I am headed to Costco this morning for an eye exam and meat. I think it's time for bifocals.

QOTD- I laughed when I read the QOTD. I have 2 neighbors. The ones that we share a driveway with are jerks. They actually freaked out on the UPS man a few weeks ago for coming up their side of the driveway and disturbing the gravel. They are just angry people and they are usually drunk by noon. My dog doesn't like them either. My backyard neighbor who I adored passed away last year due to cancer. Her name was Roberta and we loved her very much. We moved into our home when I was pregnant with my son, 23 years ago. My favorite memories of her are sitting on her bench by the creek visiting in the evenings. I really miss her. Her daughter lives in her home now. A few weeks ago, her daughter was in the backyard. For a moment, I thought it was our Roberta, but then I remembered that she is gone. I think that is one of the hardest things about covid, I never felt like I got to mourn her or attend her funeral.

Food plan for today-

Lots of water. I actually quit drinking coffee. I felt like it was adding to my anxiety and my pouch didn't always like it.

Eggs and cottage cheese

turkey breast

beef pepper steak

chomps or boiled egg

Have a great day everyone.

I just spit out my water reading, "going to Costco for meat and an eye exam". Lol, I love America.

Good morning and hello June! Yesterday was a real pretty day and I spent a couple of hours of it with my daughter and the grand girls at a park. Don't get me wrong, I didn't move much. We sat on a bench and chatted while the girls played but it was nice to just be. Food was a struggle yesterday. My normal schedule was all off due to other things being planned. I ate breakfast an hour early, snack when I have lunch, lunch when I have snack -- dinner late. I kept my calories within my top range and carbs to 19. I added a half a Quest protein bar late in the evening out of "desperation". I know I wasn't starving, but I tried all my other tricks, fake coffee, doing a chore -- and my body was still crying and brain would not let it go. So I fed my body to shut up my brain. Today should be better as I will be back into my routine.

QoTD: We love our neighbors and regularly find ourselves on one of their patios or them on ours. We have one nasty neighbor, but she's six doors down and everyone does their best to avoid her. Mean and Nasty and Mrs. Kravitz for those of you who are old enough to catch that reference!

Menu: I actually spent time last night blocking this out to help me with the CAMAW thing. (by the way, what's the "C"? I know I am not eating quite clean enough for AMAW side, but I'm trying!)

B: 1/4 c low fat cottage cheese, 3 once chicken breast bites

L: 3 oz boneless, skinless chicken thigh with 1 oz feta and grape tomatoes

D: 4 oz center cut pork chop with sliced onions and mushrooms and a tbsp bacon asiago cheese dip

S: 1 oz beef jerky, 1/2 serving parm whisps

total cals: 914, total carbs 20.

Peace Everyone!
