What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good morning, everybody!
Post-Murph. Looking Good and Feeling Great.
LOL. It never disappoints. This was my first time doing it with the 20 pound vest. I ran the first mile in about 13 minutes. For the exercises, I broke them up into 50 rounds of 2 pull-ups, 4 push-ups and 6 squats. My plan was to try and minimize time spent staring at the bar bar waiting for strength to return. The trade-ins was that I spent a lot of time transitioning between movements.
The 50 rounds of exercises took about 55 minutes. Having done CAMAW a few weeks ago would have made that a little easier. I ran the last mile in about 15 minutes. Not sure why my hair is so fluffy.
We had a taco truck party afterwards. And a nap.
I guess that I am on CAMAW. I intended to do AMAW, but lack of preparation did me in. I may switch to AMAW when the jerkies arrive in the mail and just do a week of that after the partial week of CAMAW. June 10th, I am going to Massachusetts to see family and it will be difficult to explain AMAW to them, so that is my end point.
QOTD: Yes, we are fortunate to have very good neighbors on all sides. They shoveled our snow while we were in Florida.
Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese
Lunch: Ham
Dinner: Mahi burger (source of much speculation yesterday)
Have a great day, all!

At first glance of your hair, I thought you must be upside down! Great job with your works out iron man!
I had a dream about mahi burgers last night! I think I need to get them asap!

Good for you! My body is complaining loudly these days at my lifting. I Do miss my Crossfit inspired workouts my other trainer gave me. He used to teach Crossfit classes and so that was his baseline of how he presented what I did. This trainer is more straight up bodybuilding...he's great but I do miss it.
So to add to my garage gym I saw this apparatus they were selling this weekend for sale at just $69...lol... It was for attaching to your pullup bar - a pulley and cable system you could attach barbell plates to so you are able to do tricep pulldowns etc. I was like damn I can do that myself. Bought the stuff at Walmart last night for $30. On my agenda for today. I think it will work.

Saving $39 is definitely worth a trip to Walmart.

Great job on the work out!
You are coming to MA on Grim's b-day! Do you have time to meet up while you're in town?
Let me check the schedule. It's just me and I'm staying with my Mom, so would I jump at the chance to escape for a few hours? YES! But it may not be my choice.
Also, unrelated, but when I was looking at some old posts, someone we haven't heard from in a while is Chris. Do you talk to him?

Ok, I am actually off from Monday 6/14 - Wednesday 6/16. I have a big furniture delivery on Saturday and decided to take a few days off to redecorate! So if your time doesn't coincide with the delivery I should be free!
I haven't kept in touch with Chris, sadly. I think some others who are still on social media are probably friends with him on Facebook? But last I heard he had a massive heart attack and then had some really serious complications while recovering. I think that was about a year ago... If anyone else has an update, I would love to know how he is doing!
