So glad to see you posting. And glad to hear you are getting the support you need. I spent my 20s crippled by driving anxieties so I completely relate. I agree-- let's be kind to ourselves and take it one day at a time, as they say!
Good morning! It's a beautiful day for a wedding here in San Diego! Really looking forward to seeing all the friends tonight. JB, so glad you picked Monday to start AMAW! I really am going to enjoy a few glasses of adult beverages tonight. But tomorrow, we have a BIG bike ride planned out. Not sure how many miles so I'll report back on Sunday.
Does anyone use "SLACK" at work? It's an interoffice messaging system that is such a useful tool. But I've got two employees, pretty dang new here, who are turning it into some kind of Mean Girls agenda. Because we can monitor what they are saying on their, we can see the two of them spending a tremendous amount of time trashing the other new employee, talking about the boyfriends, about whether or not I'm in a *****y mood. It's just so weird how these girls don't have a problem using their company equipment to slam and ***** That has to be dealt with today, and I am so not happy about it. But I'm not in junior high anymore and I am not amused. Thanks for letting me vent that!!
Jim, OMG -- I was totally captivated last night. But this morning I am a little depressed as Clay is now off the market. LOL. What an emotional show. I even saw my husband tearing up.
QoTD: My husband loves to feed the birds, but it's absolute no for us. We live in an old area with huge date palm trees. Rats live by the gillions in those trees. Bird feeders equal more food for the rats equals them coming on our property to eat them -- EEEEEEEK. No. Just no. Rat abatement is an ongoing project and expense for us. I'm not feeding the little *******s!
Menu is a little tbd due to the wedding, but lunch and breakfast are spot on. cottage cheese, chicken, veggies
photos are of my grandgirls on the "rocks" we climbed last week and my husband and I on our patio.
Peace Everyone. Have a safe and wonderful long weekend and say a little prayer for those who gave their all to us.

We end up firing a handful of people a year for misusing our instant messaging so I feel you! Never in my team so far -- I consistently remind people if you wouldn't want your grandmother to read you said it on the front page of the paper, it doesn't belong in any work communication.
