Mornin' All!

well the new refrigerators are in! Unfortunately, the new ice maker that we ordered for the kitchen one is not. It's now out of stock. Crap. I have to call some guy tomorrow. The one who answered the phone yesterday wasn't sure if the ones they DO have in stock will fit this fridge or not. If not, hopefully we won't have to wait long. Although to be honest, there is so much crap in these two freezers that I'm not sure the ice maker - or a bag of ice - is going to fit in there anyway. We have work to do. I swear there are eight bags of frozen cranberries, and about four boxes of Beyond Burgers. Plus all kinds of other stuff. Frozen vegetables, frozen dinners, frozen meatballs, frozen fish. I don't know if we have less freezer space now overall, or what - but this is insane. So until we get this inventory down, we are only going to buy essentials like milk and eggs at the store. I swear we could feed the whole damn neighborhood with all this stuff in the freezers...

today will be cold and rainy. Good day to get caught up with stuff for my documentary film class. I'll also go over to the gym and do the weight machines. And MIL is coming over later - DH wants us all to go out to dinner. I really don't want to go because I've been doing pretty well with my eating the last few days, but on the other hand, we need to get MIL out. She has major anxiety issues and I think she's dealing with depression as well. She rarely leaves her apt anymore. I can always just get an appetizer or something...

QOTD: so funny you asked because I've been thinking lately that I should take up birdwatching! I've always considered it an old people's hobby, but here I am contemplating it. Well...I guess I'm officially "old" now, so... I downloaded a bird identification app a couple of weeks ago (Merlin - developed by the Cornell Univ ornithology lab) and have been planning to get a copy of that bible of birdwatchers, "Birds of North America".

B: skyr with 1/2 diced mango, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: coleslaw topped with grilled chicken strips and an Asian-style dressing

AS: may have a latte made with Fairlife milk and some sugar-free vanilla syrup I made last night. And something to keep me from overeating at dinner - maybe a tablespoon of peanut butter on a slice of Aldi's 35-calorie bread

D: ???

have a great day, everyone!!

thanks! I put on 10 lbs over the past year (thanks, COVID!), so I'm now 160, give or take a couple of lbs depending on the day. I weighed 160 in this picture as well since it's veery recent. I feel like I looked and felt my best at 150, so I've been struggling to lose those 10 lbs (which is definitely a struggle...). Although several people have said that I look exactly the same as I did 10 lbs ago, maybe due to all the exercise, including weights (well, probably mostly due to weight training) - so I think it's more a mental thing with me. 160 sounds heavy. 150 sounds acceptable. Plus my normal BMI range tops out at 154, so I'm now technically "overweight", which is also a mental thing with me...
