Definitely not enough. All joking aside, when he started playing pickle ball, I thought he tried to kill himself with dehydration. It almost became an ER visit level. We were pushing Gatorade and Pedialyte as much as he could tolerate. I don't think he was 100% for like 3 days.

I never remember taking a nap ever in my life. A few times maybe dozed off watching TV but never a nap. It sounds delightful. Wish I knew how to do it. Oh did you see the Pens are going into game 6 tonight against the Islanders down 1 game. Do or die for us tonight. Hope they can pull it off and stop all the naysayers.

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Nice thread yesterday. Hope to see more crawl out the woodwork and come back since our fearless leader is starting us off again. Jen, Shelia, Karen, Cara. and many more. Oh you lurkers you know who you are we miss you too.

I had a conference call yesterday with someone who is trying to get me to use RELIV Supplements as my vitamins. I am looking for something that is holistic to control my hot flashes. So after I listen to the whole presentation the bottom line was it would be $48 every 2 weeks. AND THAT WOULD NOT BE TAKING THE PRIMARY POTION. It was crazy and so were the claims of healing cancer and diabetes. I am not stupid if this stuff really worked everyone in the world would be using it. And since my bloodwork has been coming back fine I have no intentions of changing it up right now. I laughed. I only pay $20 bucks for a month supply of my bariatric Multi. I will deal with the hot flashes at that price.

QOTD: Starting last week we no longer need to wear mask at work if we fully vaccinated and have turned in our CDC card. Want to talk about segregation. Hmmm. We know exactly the ones *****fuse it. Crazy.

Accountability: I nailed it. Only because I over ate on the chicken thigh I had yesterday and nothing else would go in.

Everybody Have a great day.

Interesting that you have to show your CDC card at work. We are on the honor system and I think that sucks too... There is no good way to do this.

we had a co-worker at my former job who sold RELIV. We were all so glad when she finally retired. We liked her, but...the RELIV thing got old pretty fast. She really pushed - but only one person actually got suckered into it.

You can buy a natural progesterone cream and put a 1/4 teaspoonful on your arm once or twice a day. Works great for hot flashes and balances out your body. Get on Amazon or a health store.

Most natural progesterone creams have real micronized progesterone - Most of that is bioidentical progesterone - but it's made in a laboratory, often from soy or yams, or other stuff. It is a real hormone. It's not "a natural product".

My arthritis pain responds to my diet. Seriously.

A few examples:

  • Things like alcohol (i.e. wine, beer) can cause severe increase in my knees pain. I could go from 2 to 8-9 after just 2 small serving of alcohol, and the inflammation would last a week. So not worth it. I gave up drinking.
  • some fruits are worse than others - i.e. grapes - I had to discontinue that. Even a nice serving of grapes could affect my knees same way as alcohol does.
  • Sweets in general- I can have some, but more than just a serving or 2 per week = increased joints pain
  • grains, or some starches
  • last but not least - some, if most most artificial sweeteners.

Added:
BTW: for the last year and this year, I had been on "whatever diet". Including lots of candies, chocolate, ice-crams ect.

Things that I know I should avoid. I gained so much weight that most of my clothes don't fit. This is bad. Plus I'm in so much pain, lower back, arthritis.

The meme really applies to me. But I am changing it. I am removing most of things I know cause gain weight and inflammation/pain, but also make my appetite and pouch capacity supper larger. Most carbs makes my pouch insensitive to full- empty signals. Its unreal how much I could eat when I ate carby food, as compared to just meat.
