What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning. Well I planned a menu yesterday it was one of those days where nothing sounded good. I did fine but did not eat really well he wrote down.
I was diagnosed With arthritis in my 40s. Severe arthritis, I remember the orthopedist was shocked. Same orthopedist who ended up doing my shoulder surgeries. Best thing you can do is keep moving, and strengthen your joints. Strengthening your joints doesn't take away the arthritis but makes it easier to deal with.
QOTD: I really haven't had a 2019 experience yet. Even though they lifted the orders down here, everybody seems to still be wearing their masks.
Food:
- egg tortilla
- Publix sushi ($5 sushi Wednesday. Ha)
- Schwarma and veggies
- Nighttime- Casein
- post workout- protein oats
Exercise: upper body and a yoga class

well the chai meetup with the PhD student from India didn't end well. It started out fine - he seemed very friendly and "safe". His homemade chai was excellent - and his lunch food was good as well - but eventually he got on to this political discussion that never should have been broached - or at least expanded upon. We were clearly on opposite sides of most issues, which is fine - but he kept challenging me on my views, which I found a bit much for people who'd just met. Then as I was leaving, he made a pass at me. He said he likes older women. Well great but....I'm older than his damn mother! You know - I thought I'd left all this (as in unwanted attention or advances from men) far behind me, after being severely obese for many years and now...old. But no. But what a shock to get it from a 24-year-old. Anyway, he obviously knew he'd really stepped out of line - I left abruptly and then he sent me three or four messages apologizing profusely for his "inappropriate" behavior. Which he should have - but sorry, that was it. I'll have nothing more to do with him. It's still bothering me and it's been almost 24 hours. UGH. I hope to never have to deal with this crap again.
QOTD: being able to spend time with friends again!!
B: vanilla skyr with 1/2 diced mango, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: either a serving with one of those bagged salad kits with some shredded chicken on top - or maybe this frozen burrito that's been in my freezer since the Cambrian age (new fridges coming tomorrow! So we're still trying to eat what we can out of the fridges/freezers...)
AS: L&F yogurt with either a skinny bagel or 1/2 a protein muffin
D: 1/2 a Beyond Burger on 1/2 a slim bun, and some kind of vegetable
ex: weights today!

Im so sorry you dealt with that. So inappropriate behavior.
But lets that be a reminder to you - listen to your gut/intuition next time. You felt uneasy about meeting someone in their private place for the first time, and your were right. Ugh. So sorry.

Good Morning! I have tons in my mind today and just need to try and stay focused. I don't want to go into details but just have things to process and wrap my head around. John and Em are good and my safe landing place for sure.

L: Spinach salad with Foster Farms chicken bites, and Feta cheese, carrots, SF pudding and a peach
S: Protein puffs, mixed nuts, an pear and cottage cheese
D: Shredded pork, cauliflower with cheese sauce, sliced orange/banana, and 2 squares dark chocolate
ES: Greek yogurt with ¼ cup fiber cereal
E: Mentally and physically needed a rest day.
V/W: On track
