Good morning menu friends! I hope this new week finds you doing well!

I have an appointment with my retina specialist to see how the surgery went. Hoping it's good news on both the right eye and the left eye. I'm a little worried about the left one as I've been having a headache for a little less than a week. It's the same headache I usually have before an eye messes up. I'm hoping it's just allergies and the wind we've been having. I'll tackle whatever may come though. This appointment usually takes at least 3 hours.

I've got a lot of calls to make today too. I'll try to get ahold of the abott rep for the stimulator. I need to call about my depression med as the insurance company was/is finicky. They'd only pay for 2 weeks of a certain dosage and wouldn't pay for the increase the way the doctor wrote it. I was supposed to take two pills a day after two weeks of one. That way there'd only be one prescription fill but no...I have to go and get the dosage increase pill. Just seems silly to me.

We've got the kids today and my niece Rachel has a soccer practice if it doesn't rain. She doesn't seem terribly into soccer but she likes the social aspect of it. My other niece Riley seems to like it more. She is one of those *****ally. Really hates losing.... Randall just loves playing so he loves soccer. I'll attach a picture of his first time in the game at goalie. Later he took the ball to his face and that was hard to see. It wasn't a hard hit but seeing little kids get hurt...well it sucks.

QOTD: what's at least one thing you want to accomplish this week?

I want to get back to riding my stationary recline bike this week. I know it'll hurt my tailbone but sitting in my recliner hurts it too. Might as well get exercise while it's going to hurt lol

Good Morning!

Its a holiday Monday here today.. so no work for me! Woohoo! I'm headed for my run shortly (my god I love run days!) and then I hope to take the dog to the park before it gets too hot.. and that'll be followed by laundry and lots of reading outside on the balcony.

QOTD: Run x 3, strength train x 1 and hit my water goal everyday.

Mornin' All!

I have Mah Jongg this morning, then I'll head to the gym for either water aerobics or the weight room. Nothing else on the agenda yet, although our course instructor will be posting assignments and lectures for the week sometime before 9:00 a.m. Busy week coming up, though - or busy for a retiree, anyway...

QOTD: watching this last DVD I have checked out from the library so I don't have to keep checking it out and renewing it!

B: vanilla skyr, 1/2 diced mango. Coffee with half & half.

MS: protein shake

L: 1/2 a Chik'n patty on 1/2 a slim bun with lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce. One cup of Chinese-style stir fry vegetables (from Aldi. 45 calories in a cup!)

AS: probably 1/2 a protein muffin and a L&F yogurt

D: one serving of a "sweet kale" salad kit with 2 oz chicken

Morning all! Today starts my week long vacation at the beach. Leaving this morning so I may be MIA this week. Looking forward to it.

QOTD: being able to relax and destress!! I'd also like to be able to accomplish not going overboard with eating just because I'm on vacation and also being able to keep up with exercise. I plan on walking/jogging on the beach daily.

B: coffee & Ezekiel toast with peanut butter & homemade SF strawberry preserves

L: ??

D: maybe seafood of some sort?

hi all- it was my birthday sat and there was sushi and lots of other stuff. needless to say my scale is up this morning just in time for the Dr appt with the bariatric NP! uggggg anyway.

QOTD: several things: Boss is retiring so want her party to go off without an issue. I'm also going to try to get out of this in person conf call Wednesday since I had not planned on being here another day (in TN).

I also want to get back into my gym and get my water in.
