What's on your Wednesday menu?
Good morning! After days and days of chicken forward meals, I'm back to my fighting weight. YAY! I have to say, going back to dense protein really helps me get over feeling hungry and makes my belly feel comfortable and happy, even if it leaves my taste buds wanting. This has been a good reminder to me. At just over 18 months out, I'm terrified of rebound gain. Working the plan helps me feel more in control.
Today is another day of just work and nothing else. More tv to catch up on tonight, I guess. I'm behind on quite a few shows. Love that DVR!
QoTD: Books! I love a good movie, but books take me away. I read a whole book on Sunday. Start to fini**** was so good!
Menu:
B: chicken breast and 1/4 c cottage cheese
L: chicken saltimbocca, steamed veggies
D: shrimp patty and pork rinds
S: beef jerky, Sonoma bacon cheddar crackers (4), 1 pc of chocolate if I stay the course!
Peace Everybody!

QOTD- Usually books, but I also love movies. I'm usually disappointed in movies that are made from books because I imagined the characters differently and they just can't put it all in a movie.
The gym has lifted the restrictions, you don't have to make a reservation so I'm going to try to get there this weekend. The movie theaters have also reopened so I'm going to also try to see a movie. There may be light at the end of the tunnel and I don't think it's an oncoming train.
I've got a Zoom appointment with my counselor on Monday, I haven't talked to her in months. I should have done this sooner.
I've got lots of work so I'd better get to it.
Have a great day everyone!
I love Rowan Atkinson especially Black Adder.

Good morning, everybody!
I'm off to a late start today. Slept until 8:56 and then had a 9:00 conference call on Microsoft Teams. Safe to say that the video was off for that one.
Today, I'm fairly busy at work, have to lift and go to Crossfit and then tonight we have a Board meeting. I have to review our organization's Form 990 before the Board meeting as well.
The fam is barreling across Iowa as we speak, with an ETA of about 3:00.
QOTD:
I definitely like books better, but with that said, I also like movies.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: hamburger
Dinner: TBD, maybe take out with everyone getting home at 3:00
Have a great day, all!

Hi Everyone,
Quite a few posters have commented about the weight gain, trying to get back to their "fighting weight". It makes me curious as to how much people have regained. I noticed that most report reaching their goal. It seems that the current weight doesn't change but the person is discussing a weight gain... I understand that this is a lifelong process for many of us but it does make me curious about the amount of gain the individual is writing about. Just curious.
QOTD: I think books have more detail and substance that movies can not compete with. However, I do enjoy a good movie also. It is hard to choose one over the other.

I so far have been successful keeping my weight to 5lbs above my lowest weight. I have never gone higher. But I would love to go lower. I give myself 5lbs. Others do 10-20 so I guess it depends on you as to what number you never want to hit again.
