What's on your (photo) Friday menu?
Mel, Best thoughts for an easy day and recovery coming your way! Take care of yourself. Hugs!
Yesterday went well, not as fast as Wednesday, but not bad. Had an appt for a guy to come over and give us a quote on new stucco at 6:30. That screws up my dinner time already, and then he was a no show. So by the time I got to eat dinner it was 7:15 which is an hour late for me. I was starving and gulped it down. Then I was in agony. That guy is dead to me. No chance he'll get my business now! Overall, I did well on food and now have 1 pound left to lose to get back to pre vacay weight. I will make that happen!
QoTD: My daughter and I are going to take some time by ourselves Sunday and have lunch. No kids or spouses. Can't wait to get to just soak her in.

Wishing you a smooth surgery today Melody... please keep us updated.
I'm sooo glad this week is coming to an end. These shakes seem to be catching up to me so fingers crossed that on the 19th I can add some food back into my day. I still have 2 workout sessions with my trainer per week but also try to get 2-3 more on my own and I'm just feeling totally drained. We did an hour of supersets last night and by the time I got home all I could do was shower and crash. Needless to say I will be having some "real food" this weekend to celebrate Mother's Day but will be mindful and make good choices. 200 lbs down,,, I'm not going to mess up all that hard work!
Menu - Optifast x 3
Lots of water
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Good Morning Mel and Menuers,
Well I got through the meeting unscathed. I found out that Mercy now owns a Group Purchasing Organization and it should allow me to work with larger Medical companies such as home health's and nursing homes that had contracted pricing in the past that I just could not get the pricing they needed to work with them. This is big news but it also come with a lot of accountability to really grow business so as soon as I learn the ins and outs of how it will actually work. I should be on my way to bigger and better things. Thanks for all your thoughts and prays and well wishes. It really did help my anxiety.
QOTD: Tonight will do Food trucks I am going to do a crazy 8 full body workout tomorrow morning and other than that cooking for mothers day and church on Sunday. It is funny I make a dish called City Chicken every Mothers Day because my mother (and everyone) loves it. It is veal and pork kabobs that you crumb coat and fry. I know it is a Pittsburgh thing and comes from the Pennsylvania Dutch. Every year tell her I am making her favorite dish the same as last year and at 82 she is always surprised. I love that I can fool her all the time.
Accountability: Dinner ended up being a cheesy chicken bake and grilled carrots. I did have another Yasso frozen yogurt bar and I did dig in the peanut butter jar.
