What's on your Tuesday menu?
on 5/4/21 2:56 am - Amarillo, TX
Good morning menu crew!
Well...yesterday kind of sucked and kind of was good too. My eye has sprung another leak and my appointment went well. The nurse who told me it'd be a full exam was wrong. I'm not due for that until 2024. But they listened to some of my concerns about other things and I feel I'm on a better track.
I've also realized that I've gained all this weight while on the newer antidepressant. My eating while not great hasn't changed since starting it. Hoping that my psychiatrist will be able to switch it up. I'd like to try one I was on that worked so well for depression. I thought at first it was making me sick but it was something else. I "see" her Thursday so fingers crossed.
QOTD: Would you rather have amazingly fast typing/texting speed or be able to read ridiculously fast?
Hmm...for me I wish I could type BETTER faster with less typos. I already read kind of fast so...
B: JUST egg, chicken sausage, GF toast and coffee before
L: chicken tenders and BBQ sauce oh and fresh raspberries
D: no clue at this point
S: popcorn, GF pretzels with mustard
Have a wonderful day everyone!

I think it stems from realizing I sleep better on days that I do some kind of intense activity. I also enjoy the 30ish minutes of nothing but ME and my body.. doing things I never thought possible. I guess that runners high is a real thing!

This is new to me as well. I only have been running since March 2020. I was in the gym prior. Now I can not stop. I have bad days when I can not get in a good run. I think it is more mental then physical. It really clears my head and gets me ready for the day. My anxiety levels have really gone down since I started. However my shoe budget is now sky high.

I had to lookup what a London fog was. Is it like a coffee drink? I saw various spices.

Early grey tea latte basically..

So warm and comforting!

I have heard that many anti-depressants cause weight gain. At times in the past I contemplated going on one and that always concerned me. Hopefully your psychiatrist can find one that works well for you.
Today is Mike and my 9 month anniversary. It seems like both a long and a short time as life has changed so much being with him. And tomorrow we pack up and summerize (is that the reverse of winterize?) my Florida place in preparation to begin driving home on Thursday.
QOTD: I already read fast, so being able to type faster/more accurately would be preferable for me. I actually type fairly fast on a regular laptop keyboard, but I am terrible on iPad or iPhone typing.
TSS: 5 years, 1 month
B: Coffee!!! scrambled eggs and cottage cheese
L: crab cakes
D: cottage cheese and nut thins
S: hummus and pita

Looks like I missed your 5 year surgiversery. Congratulations on all your success. I guess according to OH you are now a vet. Also thank you for staying here and posting. It really gives us a dose of reality knowing it can be done.
