Good morning!
Sitting here sipping Senna tea. That should tell you how I'm feeling this morning. Blech and bloated. I must get this tea in me before I'm going to let myself have my fake coffee all fixed up. My food choices were really good yesterday, except maybe the gravy I made for the smothered pork chops, and I skipped my evening snack. Up a pound and another big weekend ahead of me, so I'm going to be extra good today.
I watched the President's speech last night. I really liked a lot of what he said, didn't agree with everything and was beyond thrilled at how calm, dignified and PRESIDENTIAL the whole speech went. Adults in the room. Thank goodness.
QoTD: I'm not sure on this one.
Menu:
B: baked chicken breast
L: P3 protein pack
D: Real Good Food bacon wrapped chicken breast, broccolini, cauliflower rice
S: Beef jerky/whisps if needed
Peace Everyone!

Good Morning Melody and Menuers.
Ok One day closer to the weekend so no complaints here. We are going to have a full day of rain today but I am hoping it is not down pouring when I go to Aldi this afternoon. I am looking to score the Belavi wooden raised planter for my deck in hopes of growing salad ingredients without the deer's eating it up before I get to it.
QOTD: Wow this is not easy. I don't think I can pick anyone particular out of a hat right now.
Accountability: Well well not so good. I hope when I get home that tub of Peanut butter filled pretzels are gone. I also had pizzellas with whipping cream I also recall an apple. Pretty much just grazed all evening

Husband just made a devastatingly bad choice on Let's Make a Deal. His wife wasn't around so he took $2,500, and passed up.... a windjammer Caribbean cruise. D'ohhh

Hello Menuers
i had some good news today. Incidentally on an abdominal ultrasound it appeared that there were some suspicious spots on my pancreas. I had an MRI on Tuesday. The results finally came in today showing a clean pancreas and no other issues (except a distended gallbladder with sludge-luckily no symptoms). Anyway I am happy with the results.
QOTD: I am not sure who to pick.
B: 1/4 c Greek yogurt
L: 1/4 c puréed keto lasagna bowl
D: 1/4 c puréed bunless Philly cheesesteaks
S: 1/4 c sf chocolate pudding
1 protein drink
i re-read my Bariatric binder today. I think I have been doing the puréed thing incorrectly. I haven't been adding fluid when grinding. May be more of a soft diet. Anyway, so far no problems with it. I start my soft diet on Monday anyways.
