Thanks! Not that I'm ungrateful for my job but I definitely feel the need. Believe it or not it's almost been 7 months with new gig already.

It's good to take days like this...especially if you feel the need. I am glad you're listening to yourself! Enjoy it!

Good morning! I'm hoping for another busy day. I love that the time flies right by. I'm only doing a 3 day work week this week. Going to Scottsdale to see my son on Friday for a long weekend. I survived the last camp trip out and only added 1 pound. I feel confident I can get rid of that in the next few days. Even though I cook almost every meal while we are camping, I make some other bad choices (wine by the campfire) that always worry me. Of course, we also walk more and bike more when out. I'm finding a rhythm in all this. At 18 months out, I'd like to just know that I can maintain my weight with little ups and downs instead of living in fear that a bad choice will result in me waking up in the morning no longer able to see my collarbone! LOL.

QoTD: Williams Sonoma. It is amazing how many things I think I need from a kitchen store.

Menu:

B: chicken bites or hb egg with cottage cheese. I was starving all morning yesterday, so I might do the chicken bites for the dense protein and see if that holds me over better.

L: leftover chicken feta sausage with a bit of mozz, parm, and about 2 tbsp's marinara

D: I think I'm going for smothered pork chops with caramelized onions, broccolini and I'll eat a couple bites of the hubs baked potato

S: beef jerky, whisps if needed.

Peace Everyone!

For me living in fear is my accountability. I watch the scale like a hawk. I've seen so many people regain and I don't want to be put in that category. If I see I'm up I try to reign it in right away. I'm afraid that if I do not fear it will get away from me.

Thanks Chrissy. I think I 100% agree. I'm trying to not slip into old bad habits. (Doritos, anyone?)

Good Morning Melody and Menuers,

I hope everyone is well and feeling good this morning. I did get my hair done yesterday and it feels great. I had it cut a little shorter than normal because it needed it. So it is much more springy and the curls are a little tighter I am liking the look. It was beautiful this morning temps were in the high 60 so it was nice to be outside. Tonight is when the rain come in so I may have to do the treadmill tomorrow morning.

My mom has been doing a circuit workout for at least the last 15 years and they are closing on Friday for good. I am so bummed out over this. There is no exercise place close enough for me to feel comfortable that she could driving to. I asked if she would do an elliptical and she said she will. My brother and I are on the hunt. I hope to find a used one but she will not be getting the social that she needs. I wish there was a better answer.

QOTD: Farma, Portland Oregon.

Accountability: I had a few peanuts. I think I may have had a pork rind or 2 as well.
