My yearly is checking balance, eyes, ears, a whole bunch of questions that they ask seniors to see if the brain is still functioning, and a of review blood work and medicines. Nothing that involves removing clothes.

Mammograms used to be awful, but they have managed to make them much more comfortable.

My yearly female checkup. I haven't seen this gynecologist and it still may be through Texas tech so it could be an intern. I was put on BC in 2019 for some hormone issues. Due to Covid the year mark was missed.

Unfortunately I would disagree but not trying to rock the boat it is only my opinion. Mammograms Suck. Big boobs, small boobs doesn't matter still pinches and pulls and I do not like them. However I do follow the rules and do them every year.

it depends on what they're doing. They only do the yuck stuff about every three years with me, and that's the only time I care about it, even though I know even male doctors see naked bodies all the time. But if it's just questions, and checking my heart and lungs and ears et al, then I'm OK with that

Good morning! I'm sitting in the big window of the RV waiting for the rain to arrive. I've got hot coffee, my IPad and a good book and basically no plans for today. Feels like I'm right on track. We had an amazing weekend visiting lots of dear friends who've all been vaccinated. I got to hold the baby and play with her a lot. We spent 90% of our time together outdoors, even though it was pretty chilly. Our 25 mile bike ride got forced into a ten mile due to a bad accident on our route. We figured out a different destination and modified on the fly. 10 miles is better than none, and my day was infinitely better than the dude in the accident. I both indulged on food choices and made excellent picks. So this morning when I weighed myself I'm still about what I was when we started this trip. Winning.

QoTD: I'm really into chocolate right now. At first I was freaked out and punished myself if I ate it, but now I'm seeing a little can fit it into my choices if I pay attention.

A Request! Can you guys post some recipes of the "yogurt pies"? I'm looking for breakfast options. Thank you!

hi -

the original yogurt pie is a lemon/blueberry one and it's from Weigh****chers.

3 eggs

3 C of nonfat plain Greek yogurt

3 T artificial sweetener

rind and juice of one lemon

one small box of sugar free Jello lemon pudding

4 oz of blueberries

spray pie pan with cooking spray. Mix all the ingredients and pour into pan. Bake at 350 until done, about 40 minutes

However, I'm not on Weigh****chers, so I sometimes use low fat Greek yogurt instead of nonfat, since it's not that many more calories (we're talking like an extra 10 calories per slice), and you'll end up with a creamier result. Also, I sometimes add 2-3 scoops of vanilla protein powder to make it into more of a meal

from there, you can get innovative. Here's the cheesecake one:

3 eggs

3 C plain Greek yogurt

3 T artificial sweetener

small box of sugar free Jello cheesecake-flavored pudding (I usually put in two boxes of it to pump up the flavor, though)

(I also add 2-3 scoops of protein powder to this one so I can use it as a meal, but it's optional)

otherwise, the directions are the same. I like to top this one with some kind of berry sauce (that I make by cooking down the berries with artificial sweetener and a little vanilla and cinnamon). But you can eat it plain, too..
