I would have been so bummed about those meatballs. Maybe next time!

Unfortunate about the meatballs but I'm glad you've found a nice church home!

Good morning, everybody!

Just a quick post because I have 9:00 call. I may come back and add additional content so stay tuned.

I lost 2.6 pounds on my first week of IF. Happy with that. A lot of it dropped yesterday.

I think that I get how the windows work, but I find that when its 12:00, and my window is over, sometimes I eat too much and dump. So, I have to work on that. And the food quality.

QOTD; Pizza

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Lunch: PBJ

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

I am starting to get a plan for the fasting. I am not hungry and have not dumped, but do find myself watching that clock in the morning. I am doing from 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM. But some nights, I quit around 8:00 PM and then jus****er or tea until 11:00 AM. My current plan is to break the fast with a serving of sugar-free applesauce and then light lunch an hour later.

I notice you eat a lot of Hello Fre****ried every food service out there and Hello Fresh was the only one where I really enjoyed the food. Some of the others reminded me of school lunches or frozen dinners that arrived thawed out. The Hello Fresh chefs come up with some wonderful recipes.

I probably only actually eat Hello Fresh about 1/2 as much as I put it on the menu. A lot of nights, I will just re-heat leftovers or something like that. But we do like the meals, and its a lot of cuisines that we wouldn't normally have.

I was always burning the rice until Marilyn told me that I had to switch burners on the stove.

I never got rice right. At one point I had a rice cooker that turned out perfect rice. Now I use boil-in bags. Maybe the trick is the burners. Did she tell you to use one that is lower heat?

Yes, the indicators are the same, but the one in the back just isn't as hot, I guess. If I cooked for my son, I would give him the soft rice off of the top and scrape the burnt rice off of the pan to eat myself.

This is definitely a thing! It starts to taper off. I started off that way as well, I felt like as soon as I could eat I wanted to eat every single thing in sight. Appetite correction happens after a while. It helps if you break your fast with some broth (I do veggie broth since I don't eat animal products, but lots of people SWEAR by bone broth). Just something to get something in you immediately, it really helps.

Let it begin with me.

To update my day of adulting....I just made my appointment for my yearly, for the first time ever my exam will be by a man. I am so nervous. Due to some things that happened in my childhood I don't exactly trust all men in certain situations. So eck! I also am getting my first mammogram on the 11th...woot. Adulting and stuff.

May is looking to be one busy month. 3rd, 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th and the 12th all have scheduled appointments. I also get a shot in each eye at the end of this week.
