What's on your Monday menu?

Good Monday mornin everyone!

I'm in a lot of pain this morning. My eye is still bleeding a bit. At least my new eye patch arrives today. We have the kids today so it'll be a long day.

Good morning! I love the cat picture.

Sorry I haven't posted much. The SILs have been here since last Sunday so we have been busy and I haven't exactly been eating planned meals. It REALLY is time to get back on the wagon when I return to Cape Cod in early May.

I have been separated from Mike since the SILs came and am really missing him a lot. He will be coming on Thursday and at this point we don't have any planned separations after that since we will be officially living together from that point forward.

QOTD: I crave different things depending on the time of day. I crave savory things like cottage cheese early in the day (weird, I know). Later in the day I tend to start craving sweets like cake, which is why when I am planning my meals well I try to have something sweet that fits into my plan available (like the yogurt pie).

TSS: 5 years, 1 month

B: Coffee!!! scrambled eggs and cottage cheese

L: crab cake? (Lunch out)

D: leftover something

S: Nut thins with cottage cheese or hummus and pita

OMG Congratulations. Liz I teared up a bit when I read your post. I am so happy things are going so well. Very very happy for you.

I found myself looking for places for next winter, its been so cold here. We said we wouldn't because my youngest will be a Senior and in school full-time, but...

Once you experience being where it is warm during the winter it is hard to be back in the cold. I was freezing for the 4 days I was there in early March!

It is great that things worked out with Mike and you will be living together. I do have a belief that there is a plan for all of us and the right person will be there at the right time.

I'm so happy for you and Mike. You deserve to be happy and I'm glad y'all found each other!

This just dawned on me, but whose houses are you going to live in?

Ha ha! Four homes and four cars! Mike will live in my home on Cape Cod because mine is more of a year-round home than his though his is closer to the beach. We are thinking that we will go to his place a couple of days a week (mine is upper Cape Cod and his is in the lower Cape near the National Seashore). I will live at Mike's place here in Florida. I plan to keep my Florida place for another year with family staying there but will sell it a year from now if all is going well. So at least we will be down to 3 homes!
