What's on your Tuesday menu?
Good morning! We are having a Santa Ana today in San Diego, so warm and windy and dry. There isn't enough lotion available to combat the dry. Yesterday was productive. I succeeded in menu planning, shopping for groceries and doing returns. I failed by having second, really too large glass of wine. Dinner was so good. I should have just left it at that and not opened a bottle of wine. I made a seared Sea Bass with a butter/miso/soy glaze and added cremini mushrooms and caramelized onions. So good and except for the butter "knob" (which is like 2 tablespoons, but I only ate a quarter or so of the glaze) it was very healthy. Not so much for the wine. I do better if we just don't open a bottle. I put myself on wine restriction at least until Friday night at the campground, and I'll be sure to stick to my 3-4 ounces in the future.
QoTD: I'm thinking hedgehogs.
Menu: I'm supposed to add a protein snack in per my docs orders. Get my protein number up above it's current rate of 5.6 to at least 6. We'll see how that goes.
B: 1 egglife wrap, 2 oz gyros meat, 1 tbsp feta, 1 tbsp tzatziki sauce
S: Jack Link's 90 calorie beef and cheese stick set
L: leftovers 1/4 c refried beans, 2 oz taco meat, 1 oz shredded cheddar, 1/2 bag Quest protein chips
AS: 1 oz beef jerky, 10 parm Whisps
D: 1 Real Good Food Chicken Enchilada. 1/3 C refried beans
this is a lot of food planned, but it all fits on my my fitness pal tracker to keep me at my desired calorie range of 1000. We'll see how this goes.
Peace Everyone!

I love Sandy. A Texas squirrel, and the episode where she got fleas was freaking hilarious. I don't really do cartoons, but my youngest was a huge Spongebob fan, and she made me watch that episode because, squirrrels and fleas and underwater was hilarious.

A flea is a dastardly little vermin that bites us air breathers.

Plankton or Mrs. Puff probably are my favorite characters, but maybe a future QOTD.

Good afternoon all! It's been a very stressful day! My internet went out ten minutes before work ended yesterday and has been out all day today. Still waiting on the technician to come out to fix it. Sigh...it's always something! Accountability was good yesterday and I'm down three pounds today thank goodness! I haven't even been hungry today. I guess I've just been too worried and stressed to even think about food.
QOTD: Cats maybe? Lol
B: fasting until noon. Black coffee, hot tea and water
L: protein shake
D: salad w/chicken
S: L&F Greek yogurt & fruit
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Greateight: LOL for QOTD lobsters! I'd lead them right into a pot of boiling water, lol.
QOTD: I would love to lead all the giant breeds of dogs. My Pyr would not be happy but he could learn to share a little...maybe!
Breakfast today: 12 TBL protein shake
Lunch: 1.8 oz left over cheeseburger
Supper: My first attempt at cooking a "stew" with beef and a tablespoon of turnip and onion.
Am looking forward to when my diet is advanced at 6 months (16 weeks to go!). I can't even begin to imagine eating more than my 6 TBL at this point, though.
Have a positive night. Oak Island is on!
