Good mornin everyone! Hope that the week is going well for you so far!

I see my eye specialist today...kind of nervous & anxious but also looking forward to getting this resolved. I'm really tired! I see my PCP tomorrow and the pain management clinic Friday. The stimulator isn't doing as much as the trial but it's an improvement at least. I only took one Tylenol 4 in the past 26 hours. I did take a regular Tylenol as I had a horrid headache yesterday. I also have to get in for the women's annual exam.

I'm fasting till 10 this morning...doing a 16:8 day to see how it goes. My stomach has been wildly upset thanks to that casserole I made. No more of that which bummed me out too.

silly question time!

QOTD: If you were the next pied piper, what animal would you want to be able to compel to follow you?

cats of course! Close second would be dogs.

B: black coffee and water

L: JUST egg, hash browns, chicken sausage and maybe a slice of GF bread

D: might do a pork tenderloin we have in the freezer...not sure yet

S: popcorn thin, tbs peanut butter...chai tea and hopefully some raspberries if I get to sams today.

Have a good day everyone!

Mel

Good morning! I love that pic. My dogs and DS always looked just like that when bacon was cooking.

My SILs and I had a good luncheon at a friends home here yesterday. It is going to be muggy with thunderstorms today, so maybe we will poke around in shops. And I might cook tonight (haven't done that in a LONG time).

QOTD: Dogs absolutely- all sizes and shapes!

TSS: 5 years

B: Coffee!!! scrambled eggs and cottage cheese

L: tuna fish

D: grilled chicken, pasta salad

hi all

quick one for me

food wasn't to plan yesterday, maybe I should put in MFP first instead of using my eyes to window shop in my own kitchen. there were multiple joseph pita's at 60 cal each plus other crap. my anxiety was up and that causes it.

on a positive note I didn't gym BUT I worked in my online shop packaging items and organizing and listing. it was productive.

food plan today

in no particular order I will figure it out:

coffee. coffee, water, water

shrimp, stir fry vegg, pork, more vegg, yogurt,

Mornin'!

We're "meeting" (online) for Mah Jongg at 8:00 this morning since we weren't able to meet yesterday (someone had a doctor's appt, I think...), and i have class right after that, so it'll be a long morning. My brother arrives around dinner time, so I have a lot of prep to do this afternoon. Ugh. It'll be fun to have him here, though. I have my second COVID vaccine tomorrow morning - I'll be so glad to have that behind me! I've gotten approval to take three classes this summer - Islamic art & architecture, a beginning astronomy class, and a poli sci class on 20th and 21st century genocides. I was a bit hesitant about the last one since I've been taking 20th century South Asian History and 20th century Eastern European history this semester, so I've studied enough genocides to last a lifetime, but I wanted to pack my schedule this summer since I'll be spending probably three weeks of it recovering from surgery, so I need a lot to do - and that class "fits". Plus it might be interesting..

QOTD: cats!

B: protein shake, coffee with half & half

MS: piece of cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with blueberry compote

L: 1/2 pita with Madras lentils, maybe a small sweet potato

AS: either protein pudding or 1/2 a protein muffin and L&F yogurt

D: 1/2 pita with a Costco chicken skewer, tzatziki sauce, and cucumber slices

ex: strength training for sure, and maybe a cardio (youtube) class. Feeling really bloated this morning (maybe too much sodium yesterday?), so a lot of exercise and fluids should help...

have a great day, everyone!

I am tired this morning. I was on call last night and I was called in from 01:30-4:30 .. and I have to be back at work for noon (thank god for sleep time!) I probably won't have the energy to do any exercise after work today.. so perhaps today is a rest day.

Good morning, everybody!

When we flew to Australia, we went on one of the gulf state airlines. And since we went East around the world, the long way, we accumulated a lot of miles. The brochure said that those miles could be converted to American Airlines frequent flyer miles. Well, not so much.

So after repeated attempts to convert, Marilyn gave up and cashed in our miles for a small gold ingot.

Which is where I come in.

Yesterday, the ingot was supposed to be delivered at 10:30. Marilyn had tennis, so I assured her that I would be able to sign for the delivery.

I went out to my garage gym from about 9:15 to 9:45 and sure enough that is when the delivery came. Of course, DS heard and saw the delivery man come to the door, but ignored it. So, no ingot. And we had some explaining to do when she got back from tennis.

Now Marilyn is storming around the house like the dragon of Smaug demanding her gold and/or an explanation of why we didn't sign for it, and I am trying to keep a low profile. Hopefully, it comes shortly, without a hitch.

Also, its spitting snow flurries here today.

QOTD: Lobsters

Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese

Lunch: steak

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Melody and Menuers,

Glad your getting some relief with the stimulator. Seems if you and DH have had the same results. He already has it on the highest setting with just little relief . I guess it is better than no relief.

Plans for today I want to run to Walmart at lunch if I am not too busy and unfortunately I have to go to the funeral viewing this evening. A long time friend to our family has passed. She was 88 and lived a great life. She has only fell ill in the last year but she was active and still driving up to a year ago. She will be sadly missed. With that said what do you do for the family when their loved ones pass away? I usually bake or cook something and take it. However I am thinking about a monetary donation for the family to do what they wish on this one. Just because Of Covid.

QOTD: I'll take a camel just because Sea lions don't do well on the land.

Accountability: I ate a whole Keto cheese Danish. There not bad but lost of fat and calories and I do try to avoid that. I was hoping to use just as a treat but I plowed though the whole thing. I also had a bag of Microwave popcorn I did not need.

TSS: 3 years 4 Months 7 days: 133.6 (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with SF CM Coconut creamer

MS: Premier Caramel protein and berries

CB: Coffee with SF CM coconut creamer

L: Left over Chopped steak and snack selects.

D: Fajita in the air fryer on low carb tortilla

Exercise: 3.5 mile run (Done)

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I started a sublingual B12 3x a week

Everybody Have a great day.

Brightest Blessings.
