What's on your Monday menu?

Good morning everyone! Hope the week treats us all well.
Today starts a busy week for me. 3 doctors appointments for me...one for my mom...and today we have the kids. Tuesday I see the retina specialist and they've already told me it'll be surgery. Which at this point I just want to get it fixed...so while I'm not happy about needing it it is what it is. Just get it done!
My fasting is going ok but I need to be a little more rigid on start and finishes. 2 complete fasts and one almost complete fast!
QOTD: Any goals you want to accomplish this week?
I'd like to move to 16:8 fasts by the end of the week and just sticking to it!
b1: water and maybe a black coffee
b2: JUST egg, chicken sausage and GF toast
a1: small slice of Mexican casserole
a2: 1 tbs peanut butter and a corn thin or crisp bread
e: Mexican casserole
Opal from yesterday(she had just played with styrofoam much to our dismay!)

The surgery will be scheduled later and not Tuesday but I'm hoping it'll be soon.

Learning my new normal, one day at a time.
Good morning all! I'm a bit annoyed this morning as it's day three of IF and I somehow gained 2 pounds! Ugh. I am trying to lose this regain, not gain even more. Fingers crossed it starts to go back down soon! It's been a struggle, but I've been staying on track.
QOTD: To lose these two extra pounds I've somehow gained! Lol
B: fasting until noon. Black coffee, hot tea and water.
L: tuna, laughing cow cheese wedge & pickle
D: salad with rotisserie chicken and cottage cheese
S: L&F Greek yogurt & fruit

Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Anytime my weight goes up by a pound or two, it is after a day when I did not drink much water. I have a 20 oz mug that I normally fill up four or five times a day. If I don't have tha****er, my body starts holding on to water and my weight goes up. Because my smart scale measures water weight, that is not just something I imagine. I see the pound on the water measurement and on the weight measurement.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
mornin!
Nothing on the agenda today, but I'm going to do a Zoom yoga class and go to Costco to get more flavored water (I should probably start drinking Crystal Light instead - much cheaper and no plastic..). If the weather cooperates, I may also take a bike ride this afternoon. And read for class. And maybe watch one of the movie videos I checked out from the library. And clean the bathrooms. My brother arrives tomorrow night and will probably be here for a week, so whatever I need to get done needs to get done today or tomorrow so that I'll be fairly free while he's here...
QOTD: just listed 'em! In addition, I'll continue with my fitness goals (45 minutes of cardio 4x a week, 20 minutes of strength training 2x a week - have been doing well with those). My calorie goals (under 1700 cal/day) may be a challenge this week with him here, but I'll try. A more realistic eating goal may be to not gain any weight...
B: pumpkin yogurt with 2 T pumpkin seed/flax granola on top, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: Costco chicken skewer on 1/2 pita with tzatziki sauce and cucumber slices
AS: 1/2 protein muffin, L&F yogurt
D: I may have 1/2 a veggie "burger" on 1/2 a slim bun, plus salad with light dressing or some kind of vegetable
have a great day, everyone!

Good morning, everybody!
Everybody is nose to the grindstone this morning. so focused. I had a good weekend. Happy hour on Friday night and then over to the neighbors for a bonfire. Frankly, the bonfire was a bit of wishful thinking because it was freezing out. I ended up going home and wrapping myself in blankets.
Saturday was mostly a long workout followed by a nap. Yesterday, I got my haircut and booked a trip to Alaska with my oldest son before he goes back to school for the fall semester.
I also did my official, start of IF weigh-in (ugh) and some research. My take away is to eat high quality foods during the eating window. (i.e. not Smart Pop and protein bars). I was down .8 today, sort least I feel like I am underway.
Today, I'm doing the Pump ad Row Challenge on Rogue Fitness. Anything for a T-shirt, I guess.
QOTD: Stay on my 16/8 program, but increase the quality during the 8. I am entered in a weightlifting meet on May 22nd, so my fitness goals are focused towards that. Hopefully 120 squat snatch on Saturday.
Breakfast: lunch leftovers from yesterday
Lunch: Mahi burger
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

I have recently become addicted to smart pop. I need to stop that habit but it's so good.
