good mornin everyone! Hope the day is treating you well!

I get my staples out today! Yay! Also getting the stimulator programmed so I am excited. My mom thinks the staples probably should've been out a week ago. I have her look at them almost every day to make sure they're ok. She says they look good other than the staples making it pretty red.

have some new music to listen to and to look forward to. One of. My favorite singers, Howard Jones and his band Light The Tourch has a new album coming out. The first single is good and I miss him so much from when he was killswitch engage's lead man. Also another band I love, Rise Against, have a new one coming out in June. Music is my happy place! It is literally my escape.

QOTD: What are some small things that make your day better?

For me it's a lot of stuff. My coffee in the morning before breakfast. My cat Percy meowing at me(yes I talk with him lol). My pup Frankie knocked out on the couch using a pillow(yes he has his own pillows). Lots of little things

B: JUST egg, chicken sausage, GF toast and coffee

L: 2 GF chicken tenders and gf pretzels

D: totally up in the air! Something Tex-Mex inspired i'm thinking. We have some Anaheim peppers we're going to roast in the oven and maybe make a casserole type thing

S: popcorn, biltong and ???

have a great day everyone!

Mornin'!

I have both of my Zoom classes this morning plus two Zoom meetings this afternoon - and I have some prep work to do for one of the latter - so my day is full. I also decided last night that I want to try making skyr ****landic yogurt), so I'm all excited about running out to get the rennet. However, I just made a big pot of Greek yogurt last night, so I should probably hold off a few days or we're going to be overrun with yogurt-like items. Sheesh. I also need to run by the vet clinic to pick up some meds for two of our cats. So yea - busier than average day today.

QOTD: definitely my morning coffee. My absolute favorite time of day is early morning when I prop myself up with pillows in my bed, have a big mug of coffee next to me, and settle in to check my email, OH, the morning news, and Facebook.

B: may just have a protein shake (plus coffee with half & half, of course - but I'm almost done with that)

MS: plain Greek yogurt with strawberry/blueberry compote

L: I was thinking of making a chaffle for the first time in forever. Topped with a dollop of Greek yogurt plus more compote

AS: I may have a meal replacement bar that I got at Aldi's last night. 240 calories plus a ton of protein, fat, and fiber. I'm thinking this might get me through my usual late afternoon cravings without a hitch (I hope...)

D: the last of the "Thai" salad kit with either a Costco chicken skewer or 2 oz ham, small sweet potato

ex: some kind of strength training

have a great day, all!

Good morning, everybody!

The fasting was a little easier yesterday, and I actually went a little past 12:00 because I was distracted. Although, I did feel like I spent 18 hours fasting, 2 hours lifting and 6 hours grazing on Smart Pop and Protein Bars.

Today may be the day that the quarters show up. I'm hoping that they make it for photo Friday. Yesterday, I got a little trophy for finishing second place in the basketball pool at work.

I know that a bunch of people watched Wonder Woman when it came out, but I can't remember whether everybody liked it or not. In either case, there is a good interview with Hari James on Crossfit.com. Basically, she was in a fitness competition when a talent agent came up to her and asked if she would like to go to Italy for 6 weeks to make a movie.

The video is about 11 minutes long. One thing that may make it easier to understand is that when she says "Athletics", as a sport, we would say "Track and Field". A little jealous of her posture. And those abs.

We have a virtual dueling pianos event at work tonight - sounds like a good reason for a glass of wine.

QOTD: Interacting with my OH friends on this message board

Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese

Lunch: Hamburger

Dinner: ham and cheese

Have a great day, all!

Nice to hear that good stuff is happening today. I am sure having those staples out will ease the uncomfortableness and yeah for getting the stimulator programmed!

I am taking a second golf lesson today. I didn't have time to practice yesterday so it may not be the most effective way to do it, but I leave the area this weekend until October so we were trying to fit them in beforehand.

QOTD: My doggie prancing along, my coffee, the sunshine.

TSS: 5 years

B: Coffee!!! scrambled eggs and cottage cheese

L: chicken salad or tuna salad

D: 1/2 burger

S: Nut thins with cottage cheese

Good morning! I did it! I have my last quarterly appt with my surgeon today. Moving to semi annual for the next year, and I was able to get off my vacation weight before the appt. I'm actually 6 ounces less than last check in. I'm at 18 months out, and I wake up every day a little afraid that I suddenly had rebound gain of a ton of weight. So I am thrilled to weigh in at goal.

Work settled down a bit yesterday, but I hope today remains busy. I like how if makes the day fly by. I am watching the grandkids for a bit this evening while my daughter, SIL, and hubs get their second shot. I get mine tomorrow. So ready to tic that box.

QoTD: Reading in a patch of sun. Laughing with friends. Cooking dinner that involves lots of chopping and dicing and steps. It really brings me back into myself and away from my work chaos.

Menu:

B: egglife wrap with 2 oz gyros meat, 1 tbsp feta and 1 tbsp tzatziki sauce

L: chicken tender stuffed with 1/2 light string cheese stick and wrapped in one slice bacon

D: either tacos or meatloaf. Depends on if I am feeding the kids

S: beef jerky, cheese whisps

Peace Everyone!
