Good morning everyone! Hope today finds you doing well!
my weekend was long and hard. I had to stop taking the Lori-tabs and go back to Tylenol 4s. My stomach and queasiness didn't appreciate them very much. I'm still feeling very rough but it is getting better. I get the staples out next week...couldn't happen soon enough!
QOTD: How was your Easter weekend?
Simple question I know, my answer is above. I did help make the cheesecake for my niece Rachel's birthday party. It was a hit! I did most of the making and none of the lifting. Pic at the end.
b: homemade gingerbread donut, coffee
l: taco salad with salsa as the dressing and vegan cheese
d: probably a tostada...
s: 1/2 cup Cheerios, slice of lunch meat and ???
Mel
Such a beautiful cheesecake! You are very talented! It's almost too pretty to eat....almost! Haha
Good morning all! Quick post before I start work. Accountability was good all weekend until yesterday with Easter dinner. Ugh. Back on track this week though!
QOTD: it was good. Spent the day at my parents house and had Easter dinner with the family. Spent the remainder of the day outside since the weather was so nice.
B: protein shake & coffee
L: tuna, laughing cow cheese wedge & a pickle
D: leftover chicken & veggies
S: L&F Greek yogurt & fruit

hi all, I've been a little too willy nilly in my food choices the last 3 days and the scale is up 2 pounds from 'normal'. I need to get back onto logging everything.
QOTD: it was a little crazy we went to my moms and my nieces and nephew were there and my sister. my food wasn't a full on fest so all of that was good. I did eat more than I should have but - whatever.
food plan today:
b: coffee/yogurt/all bran buds
water
b2: egg whites/low carb tortilla
l: veggies
d: unsure need to cook some meat?
s: unsure
I hope everyone had a great weekend and Easter if they celebrate it. I love that cheesecake - so adorable!
QOTD: We had a great 3 day visit with DSD at Mike's home. The weather was cool and windy which eliminated beaching as a focus but we made substitutes and enjoyed it immensely. Lots of good food and calories were in play though.
I am looking forward to some quiet time though. Maybe a beach day as it is warming up?
TSS: 5 years
B: Coffee!!! Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese
L: egg salad
D: grilled chicken and broccoli
S: WW muffin with blueberries (if I get what I need to make them))

Good Morning!
Can't remember if I updated this - but I did swab negative for COVID however my employer is requiring I be reswabbed again later this week. Ugh!
The BF and I are headed away on our vacation. I'm a mix of both nervous and excited. Nervous because it's my first time being away from home for more then one night - and not really having that much control over my food choices. I am bringing some protein shakes and bars (as all we have is a mini fridge) and breakfast and dinner are provided at the resort.. between all of that I'm sure I'll be able to continue to meet my goals while still enjoying myself. We plan on doing lots of hiking and outdoor exploring As the weather is supposed to be beautiful!
QOTD: I got my summer tires put on this weekend.. we don't normally do anything for Easter since we can't see family & neither one of us cares to celebrate otherwise.
b: fairlife latte
l: chicken skewer
s: protein shake or bar
d: ?? Tbd!

Learning my new normal, one day at a time.
Vacation is awesome. Enjoy it. You know the rules so I am sure you'll stick to it as close as you can, but do not let it overwhelm you. I little treat won't kill you especially since your not a year out from surgery yet. Enjoy the relaxation.

Mornin' All!
It'll be warm all week (YAY!), but lots of rain beginning Wednesday, so I'll go out biking today (maybe tomorrow, too, although I have a pretty full day tomorrow). No big plans, but a packed week nonetheless. Meetings, hosting Zoom presentations (two of them this week), classes. Things should settle down again next week.
QOTD: I made a big family dinner (Mediterranean and Middle Eastern theme - because we have lamb haters and ham haters among us. But Jesus was from the Middle East, so I guess I wasn't too far off the mark!). Luckily they ate (and/or took home) a lot of food, but we still have a lot of baklava left. I may have to make a couple of porch deliveries to friends today. I love baklava, but I don't want it hanging around for more than a day or two since it's likely to blow my daily calorie goals. And too many days of that could spell disaster...). I biked on Saturday and spent the evening cooking - and cooked again pretty much all day yesterday although I regretted I couldn't go outside. It was in the low 70s and sunny all day - my favorite weather!
B: plain Greek yogurt with apple/cranberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: Costco chicken skewer in 1/2 a pita with tzatziki and sliced cucumbers
AS: 1/2 a protein muffin (I need to get rid of these) and maybe a L&F yogurt
D: Costco chicken skewer or a small piece of spanakopita, chickpea salad, Moroccan carrots. A small piece of baklava if I can fit it into the overall calories.
have a great day, everyone!!
