Good morning everyone.

I'm not doing all that great. Lots of pain. Feels like someone has beat my mid to upper back with a baseball bat. At least I got about 3 or 4 hour blocks of sleep. Really uncomfortable. I get to take a shower later today! I'm hoping that'll make me feel at least a little better. Once again at least one of the cats were on my bed all night with me. It's quite the relaxation to hear them purr and petting them. Thankful for them.

No plans for the day...hoping to get a nap or five...LOL.

QOTD: What's your biggest screw up in the kitchen?

when I was young...I'd say 10 or 11 I tried cooking my mom something....I started a grease fire that I easily put out with the milk I had on hand. BUT I didn't tell her about the milk and a few days later the rotten milk that I didn't clean up very well started to smell. That takes the cake for me.

B: just egg, toast and maybe some sausage...coffee

L: split pea soup

D: my mom is wanting to make something but I can't remember what it is.

S: popcorn and ???

have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone and happy Thursday. I am so looking forward to the weekend. My daughter and son in law are coming home on Saturday and the weather is going to be glorious! We will do an early Easter celebration. It will be untraditional and we will probably grill.

My hubby has been gone all week and he is coming home today. I have slept terrible all week. Today also marks 18 years since my Grandmother died. I always say that she believed in me before I was strong enough to believe in myself. I always struggle on this day. I just miss her so much. She died because of complications of being super morbidly obese at 67. We lost her too soon. So, instead of being sad, I am treating myself to a massage this morning. I am so grateful for my surgery. I am going to have intentional movement and nourish my body with good food and positive thoughts.

Accountability has been really good this week! It's really simple when I am the only one to worry about feeding and I am busy with projects. I think that keeping busy is the key.

Food for today-

Eggwich

Shredded chicken salad leftovers

Shrimp stirfry with shiratake noodles and vegetables

Lots of water and a bubble bath tonight. Have a great day everyone.

Her Angel is looking over you. It's always a good thing when we reflect on the good one. You were lucky to have someone like her. Sorry she was so young.

It turned out so bad. SO freaking bad. I am basically the queen of Pinterest fails. My husband literally said "please don't ever make this again". We threw it all away.
