And if you are wondering, it was much less of a woman's lifestyle blog when I used to follow it a lot.

Good Morning Melody and Menuers,

Wow I am so sad that this community is dwindling so much. I wonder what we can do to get people back. Whatever we are doing now is obviously not working. I would hate to see it fall apart completely.

I am glad the last week of my life is over and now looking forward to bigger and better thing. DH's surgery went well but we can not adjust the muscle stimulator till after the sutures and staples are removed. I ain't gonna lie he is pretty miserable and April 9th when he gets out the staples can't come soon enough. My dear childhood friends funeral was awful and I hope no one else in my life looses there life to COVID. It was a very ugly ending.

I have my second vaccine at 11:10 will be glad to have that off my plate.

It makes me sad too. I miss so many of the wonderful people who were such good sources of information and support. I still feel like an imposter posting the daily post. I don't care even what people are eating but I miss knowing how people are and what's going on with em.

sorry to hear your husband is having a hard time. 4 days until mine. Hoping the surgeon doesn't have to use staples. I'm very apprehensive about the surgery!

so sorry about your friend. COVID sucks...so so much.

I feel the same way. I am a way back when'er, I think most of you guys came after me. I try to come back and check in with y'all just to see how y'all are doing. I don't much worry about what you guys are eating, and I know you probably don't worry about what I am eating, but it's good to check in, and talk because we are in the same boat. We have lots of the same issues, and its easier to be able to address them with people who "get it". I admit I don't offer a lot of advice in the general section to newbies, only because it's exhausting and, I think that at 12 years post op, my thoughts and experiences are so different I may not have the best advice to give.

That being said, I am on instagram and Facebook, and I am pretty active there showing lots of pics of the doggos and would love to connect there if anyone is interested. I will try to keep checking in here daily, as it makes me happy to see y'all.

Plus, it gives me a place to come talk to people who know where I've been and understand where my head is at when it comes to food, and choices and how hard it can be sometimes. Not everyone in my life understands. So you guys are my people.

I would love to get FB addresses and have some light and sunshine added to my feed. I've been actively working to block people who make my day more stressful. So it would be great to add you guys. How do we get a list?
