Good morning. Just another work day over here. Got nothing special going on. Still in the RV until Sunday. It's very nice and has everything I need, but I'm starting to hanker for home. Just because, it's home, you know?
QoTD: I read (and still do) everything I could get my hands on. But the only series jumping out at me this morning is as a pre teen/young teen, Clan of the Cave Bears. And that's probably because it was a Jeopardy question last night and reminded me.
Menu:
B: HB egg, 1/4 cottage cheese
L: left over chicken thigh pieces, and a bit of chipotle chilaquiles.
D: fish tacos
S: beef jerky/parm whisps if needed.
Peace Everyone!

Hi everyone -- one of my workshops ended half an hour early and my mind needs a break so thought I'd jump on here! Hope everyone is doing well!
QOTD - Pollyanna, Little Women/Jo's Boys, the little house books, Trixie Belden, Nancy Drew, the Pern books, the shining, the Peter Pan stories, The Bobbsey Twins, the Five Little Peppers books, The Hardy Boys....a few a very problematic to re read now but I still love them.
menu today
all the coffee and half and half -- no such thing as too much caffeine today.
English muffin with spicy peanut butter
Korean Fire chicken breast (this is my new favorite recipe -- 1/2 cup gojujang, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar, 2 tbs sesame oil; stir together in oven safe skillet, add chicken and stir, marinate 20 minutes; put under broiler about 6 inches away from element for 30 minutes, stir halfway through...it's spicy, charry goodness; I swear I'm making it every other week).
Left over cheese crust pizza
L&F greek or built bar
Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Jen
Had to come back, because I realized I forgot the ONE book I read as a little girl that truly moved me and to this day, I buy it for any little girl in my life. I highly recommend it to ANY little girl in anyone's life.
"Island of the Blue Dolphins".
Christina
Let it begin with me.
03/2009 - SW:261 GW 135 (CW:131)
Melody I love the thinking cat! And Jen glad to see you are back.
QOTD- I also like Pollyanna, all of the Marguerite Henry horse books especially King of the Wind, the Wizard of Oz books, Jules Verne Around the World in 80 Days, basically anything I could get my hands on. I also loved ghost stories. Now I totally love Stephen King- when I was reading Christine I was living in this condo that had a balcony that overlooked the parking lot and there was this old car that I swear was Christine.
Good news I got to schedule my first vaccine for April 1, hoping it's not an April Fools joke. I'm so excited!! It's at the convention center but at 7:30AM I'm hoping it isn't too busy. I plan to get there at 7AM. I'm not sure how I got the invitation I didn't think that I was eligible, but I'll take it!
I was being lazy today and ordered some groceries from Amazon Fresh, they will be here between 4-6PM. Mostly fruit & veggies but I'm glad that I have the option.
The Regal Movie Theaters are supposed to be re-opening on 4/2 but so far I don't see any movies that are scheduled. I can't wait for life to go back to some semblance of normal.
Have a great day everyone!
