What's on your Saturday menu?
Hey y'all, Happy Saturday!
Late post for me!
QOTD - "Are you sure fasting is ok? I heard from....insert someone I don't give a **** about that it can do blah blah blah". I usually counter with "well, you weren't concerned with my weight or health when I was stuffing tacos and pizza down my throat and pushing 300 lbs, but now I'm 130, with great labs and the blessing of my surgeon and my internist, and you want to have an opinion? Then I give the death stare. Keep in mind, this is mostly family. Thing is, I've read so many books, studies, papers, journal articles, etc., not to mention had so many discussions with my nutritionist, surgeon's office and internist, it's just, at this point I no longer care to engage or attempt to educate. So this question along with the "How many tattoos do you have? Did it hurt? Can I touch it? " -_-
Breakfast - fasting, (hah!) so hot black coffee, and water. Daughter treated me to fancy starbucks americano, whoooooo.
Lunch - Leftover vegan fried rice, and 1/2 donut from this place https://www.artofdonut.com/ (WORTH IT)
Snack - apple with nerdy nuts strawberry cheesecake peanut butter
Snack - mint chocolate kale smoothie
Dinner - Not sure, haven't planned, but will def be something kid friendly!
