Good morning, everybody!

They announced the workout for 21.1. And for all my excitement about being a Senior and getting relaxed movement standards, its exactly the same workout across age groups. One wall walk, 10 double under, 3 wall walks 30 double unders, 6 wall walks 60 double under, 9 wall walks 90 double under, 15 wall walks 150 double under, 21 wall walks 210 double unders. There is a 15 minute time cap.

I will hit the time cap before I am done, for sure. I have actually been practicing wall walks with my gymnastics program but my double unders are very weak. I will try and practice a little bit today and Saturday before doing the workout Sunday afternoon.

Tonight we have Friday night lights, where some of the better athletes will compete and then we are going out for pizza afterwards. So no happy hour tonight.

QOTD: Something on World War 1. I don't think that people understand how much the world changed after 1917.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Lunch: Pork chop

Dinner: Pizza

Have a great day, all!

re: WWI -- yes, it was sort of forgotten after WWII - but as far as political consequences go, it was much more significant. Almost all the borders in Europe changed, and new countries came into existence. All those centuries-old empires collapsed, too.

Best of luck to you. I'm sure you will do amazing and probably beat some of the younger competitors.

Holy crap,, I just looked up wall walk. You are a beast to do 21 in a row!

And the double under - larger women such as myself aren't even safe with a sports bra trying to doing these.

WWI was the big game changer. It was the catalyst for so many things. So so many things. Good choice!

My museum would be devoted to famous Americans of Irish descent. And it would make it really easy for visitors to find their unique genealogy and family trees. So they could see if any of their "cousins" are famous.
