Mornin' All!

All I have today is my bi-weekly online Mah Jongg game at 10:00. I'm hosting a big Zoom presentation tomorrow morning, but I think I'm ready for that. I really would love to go biking today. The temps today and over the weekend and for the next few days after that should be fine for it, but ALL.THIS.SNOW. It is taking forever for it to melt - although with temps around 60 on Sunday and next week, it should disappear pretty quickly. But not today. I have seen other people out there biking, but I think all that snow on the ground would bother me too much.

accountability has been good the last few days, but I'm feeling very bloated this morning. I didn't weigh myself because I know it's got to be due to water retention or constipation, so no need to get upset over it. My WebMD health coach wants me to bump up my exercise. That's never a problem during biking season, but more difficult when I'm exercising to youtube videos because I get bored after about a half hour. Although I suppose I can always break it up (30 minutes + 30 minutes later on in the day) to meet her goal (well, my goal - but she recommended it for me).

QOTD: teachers and anyone in customer service.

B: plain Greek yogurt with cranberry/cherry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: chocolate mint protein shake with a couple tablespoons of avocado mixed in

L: turkey chili

AS: 1/2 a protein muffin, L&F yogurt

D: I'm going to make a chickpea salad recipe I saw in the NYT cooking section the other day. It's very healthy but pretty high in calories because of all the fat (olive oil and tahini), but I'll cut back on the olive oil and then only eat 1/6 of the recipe (it says it's four servings, but I'll make it six). I also won't put the pita chips on my serving - just on DH's. With those changes, it works...

whoops - forgot to put my photo. This is an oldie but goodie (maybe three years ago?) that popped up as a Facebook memory the other day. This is Aytekin and Minik, one of my bonded pairs (we have four cats now - two bonded pairs. Unfortunately, pair 1 doesn't get along with pair 2 too well - and vice versa!)

Good morning! It's Fri-Yay! Melody, gorgeous piece of art! I'll definitely keep your family in my prayers. Not too much planned for the weekend, it's our 17 year wedding anniversary tomorrow so maybe a lunch date is in order!
