What's on your photo Friday menu?
on 3/5/21 3:16 am - Amarillo, TX
Good morning everyone! I hope the day find you doing ok.
My brothers MIL is in the hospital and very confused...they were supposed to do an MRI yesterday but I'm not sure if they did. So we've had the kids since Wednesday. Any positive thoughts for Janice would be greatly appreciated!
I've had a headache for around three weeks. Pretty sure it's related to my eye being messed up. Nothing has helped it but cold on my temples. It just kind of helps me relax. Better than nothing! The vision in my eye has improved a bit but it's still globby and annoying. I can't chainmaille so that's annoying me too.
QOTD: What profession doesn't get enough credit or respect?
I'd say grocery store and restaurant workers. They are essential and often are abused by people who think they are underneath them.
b: JUST egg, turkey sausage, gf toast and coffee
l: going to make that vegan quiche I meant to make yesterday
d: probably more quiche
s: banana, grapes and popcorn

Happy Friday everyone! Can't wait to get today over with! Work has been so crazy busy this week. I don't know if it's just because it was my first week back after being out so long or if things just got super crazy while I was out.
Accountability was not the best yesterday. Snacking took ahold of me last night and I had more peanuts than I should have. I was just craving something salty. Back on track today!
QOTD: I'd say anyone in a customer service type job for sure!
B: coffee & oatmeal
L: 2 oz turkey breast & a laughing cow cheese wedge
D: 4 oz baked salmon & veggies
S: L&F Greek yogurt or protein shake
The cats chilling on the couch with me.
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Hi there! I am trying to make an effort to post. I am back in the stupid vaccine competition again trying to get my second shot closer to my location. If I can't, I can go back where I had the first one but it is almost 3 hours away so I'd prefer to get it here if possible.
Other than that today is a beach day before I go back to Massachusetts for a week.
QOTD: So many professions really: Cleaners, store workers, teachers among them.
TSS: 4 years, 11 months
B: Coffee!!! Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese
L: out - maybe fish tacos
D: cottage cheese and something probably
S: air popped popcorn

Good morning! Happy Friday, and thank goodness it's finally here! Sending good thoughts towards Janice Melody!
QOTD - I will say it's people that work behind the scenes doing things you don't even think about. Like government workers (like me) who are passionate about the rivers and creeks that they protect. I love the San Antonio River, it's why I do what I do. I love working for the organization that I do, and I did lots of volunteer work and clean up, etc. on my days off (pre-pandemic) in an effort to keep the community involved and aware. OH, and our HEB workers, they need capes. I love them, and I am so very appreciative of them. Let's switch this order! Them first!
Breakfast -fasting, so hot black coffee and water
Lunch - No idea. I planned nothing. I brought a mint chocolate kale smoothie to break my fast, but other than that I got nada.
Snack - see above
Snack - see above.
LOL, I may run out to grab a vegan banh mi (any excuse to hit up my favorite place). It's pretty filling and sizeable and would definitely count as lunch and snacks.
Have a great Friday y'all!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Christina,
I agree with you. My husband is a Biologist. I see his struggles and frustrations.
