Not a lot planned for today. I only have three days left here before I go back to Illinois, so I need to pack and clean at some point before then.
QOTD: a wine bar.
Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese
lunch: steak
snack: nuts and cheese
dinner: tbd, maybe I will go out

I've been so happy to be migraine free, I've been able to get back into my IF super hardcore, and my energy is back, and I feel so much better. My weight is also down to below goal weight, which is SUPER nice!
QOTD - I would definitely go in with Melody on a vegan restaurant. I would focus on a Mexican flair, lots of people think Mexican food is Tex Mex only (which don't get me wrong, I love) but some of the best vegan food you will find is actually IN Mexico! So, there you have it.
Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee and lots of water
Lunch - Leftover rice, mushroom sauce (homemade), baby peas. I also have some crusty bread with avocado butter
Snack - Apple, mandarin and a vegan lara bar
Snack - chocolate mint kale smoothie with chia seeds
Snack (I'm working AT work so I eat more) - leftover mac and cheese, vegan broccoli salad
Dinner - Probably skipping because of so many snacks, so I will start my IF early today

the protein shake I made yesterday had unsweetened almond milk, chocolate protein powder, some peppermint extract, some fresh spinach, and small scoop of avocado (for a small dose of healthy fat). It was DELICIOUS - tasted like a Girl Scout Thin Mint! Anyway, sounds a little like the one you're having today...

I love both Tex mex and Mexican but I love the more Mexican stuff most. I still need to try my hand at tamales but I keep dragging my feet.

Good morning! Should be another busy day at work, so I'm hoping the day flies by. I hope to leave a bit early tomorrow as we are driving over to Palm Springs for the weekend. So I've got to get clothes organized to toss in the RV after work tomorrow and go. Not packing food or planning a menu. We plan on lots of biking and hiking and eating at cafes. I had an extra glass of wine last night in an oh pity me party. Frustrated about the employee situation here. But I did really well on my food picks and ended my day at 1019 calories. Right on track for me.
QoTD: We actually dream about this! It would be a wine/cheese/bakery shop. My son is a spirits rep so he'd handle the wine, my daughter is a pastry chef so she'll handle the bakery, and my husband and I LOVE cheese and we'd learn everything there is to know about it and recommend cheese to go with wine and pastry's you pick. Now, if only we could win the lotto so we'd have the financial windfall to open the shop. We'd call it More Cheese, Please!
Menu:
B: hb egg, 1/4 c cottage cheese
L: leftover sheet pan sausage meatballs with jammy tomatoes, broccolini and parm
D: not sure. 2 options. Sweet and sour pork or linguicia with onions and peppers. I am going to look at sweet n sour pork recipes at lunch and see if I want to tackle it. I know I have all the basic ingredients.
S: jerky/parm crisps if needed.
