I am looking for a tasty chocolate protein that can be added to my morning coffee without clumping. Any recommendations?

I use premier liquid so there is no clumping. However Bariatric Advantage has single serve portions that you can buy and test so if you do not like it your not stuck with a big tub of protein in your pantry.

Once upon a time, I had a habit...

I no longer use protein powders that include whey or dairy, etc. but this stuff was GREAT when I did.

I second the premixed premier protein. The caramel is also delicious in coffee. I use it in both cold and hot. Yum!

you can actually use any chocolate protein in coffee without clumping if you do this:

mix the powder with enough room temperature to make a slurry. Add the hot coffee to the slurry, slowly, stirring constantly. Should mix fine without clumping.

Yes! Although I don't bother with room temperature water. I just add a little ho****er, coffee, or any hot liquid to the powder, stir that, and then add the rest of the liquid.

Also, if you're adding any dry ingredients (e.g. sweeteners, spices, instant coffee), it helps to mix them up before adding liquid.

I don't drink hot coffee usually but when I do I take protein powder and add a little warm water (about a 1/4 cup****il smooth. I add it to my coffee after I've put in any creamer I'm using. Hot coffee gives me acid reflux but cold or iced does not! I also like to add sugar-free syrups to my coffee to change it up. Monin has very good syrups online - no shipping if $25. or more.

My favorite protein powders are by Isopure, either 0 or 1 carb only. The chocolate, vanilla, and banana are the best :) I mix it in with my coffee then zip it through a blender with ice.
