Having Surgery Tuesday and Having Major Anxiety
Take it day by day. It's scary. I remember feeling how you're feeling. Surprisingly, day of surgery I kept my **** together & my BP was even normal - I thought it was going to be sky high bc of my nerves. I had minimal pain post op.
let's be real.. liquid phase sucks. But it's a phase. You will get through it, and the sweet sweet moment you get a solid is the best feeling.

My VSG was my very first surgery as an adult other than dental stuff. It's normal to feel this way! I was a wreck!

Just had mine Friday. It went better than I thought. They have been doing this surgery for 20+ years and several a day. You can trust the professionals.
I guess it is today. Cant wait to hear how it went. My gas pain was in a different place than I expected; lower left of my stomach. That pain was hard. Just keep walking as they say.
