rouz n y revision
Revisions for weight gain alone are not usually covered by insurance, nor are they wildly successful.
As we age, we do have to eat less, year on year, to maintain our weight.
I've had success losing a bunch of weight and so can you. There is a thread on here by _shane_ that outlines very well how to do so.
A quick fix sounds awesome, but I'd not get hung up on that unless you have a mechanical problem that needs fixing.
Prepare to make the changes necessary to lose the weight and maintain your health as you age.

I wasnt sure if any insurance provider would pay for a revision or not but was asking just in general. i have osteoarthritis in my let hip real bad preventing me from being able to walk. so right now - any exercise is pretty much out. was just looking for options. my doctor that did the roux n y for me retired like a year after i did my procedure. never have followed up with anyone as a whole. for right now any kind of exercising is pretty much out due to some other physical health issues.
Honestly, exercise is not for weightloss, but for health. There are lots of people here who lost their weight and maintained that loss without any formal exercise.
I don't go to the gym or anything, I just walk my dog every day.
Weight loss and maintenance really is what you eat. I never count my exercise calories or use them to eat more food than my allotted calorie intake.
My first suggestion for you is to open up a free account on MyFitnessPal and log EVERYTHING you eat and drink for at least a week. Weigh your food so you are completely honest.
Come back in a week and we can help you with the next steps.

I lost 122# and have kept the weight off for 11 years.
I didn't exercise AT ALL.
what I did do was eat high protein, lov carb. I mean LOW carb, 20 or less gms of carbs a day.
No cheating. No sweet potato, tortillas, rice cakes, white flour products, junk food, very very limited fruit, no oatmeal, potatoes, rice. None.
no sugary drinks, no alcohol.
lots of no calorie drinks, 64+ ounces a day. Protein shakes once a day nearly every day. No protein bars, they are glorified candy bars.
do t let not being able to exercise be an easy excuse not to maintain your program snd lose the weight.
It's not about exercise. It's about what you choose to put in your mouth.
Well, I am one of the older peeps that had RNY done. Honestly I have never looked back. I'm one of the LUCKY ones. I lost 127#'s in 6 months. I have had a gain once of 8#'s. I lost it as soon as I cut back on the favorite Coffee's. At first walked 5to 6 days a week. Then it was 3 days a week. I have kind of lost my spark for exercising. I keep saying I will go back to exercise in the Spring. We shall see. Sometimes you just need to count calories and set a goal a lower goal. Good Luck
