Have A great day, all!

A bad day of fishing is still better than a day at work.

I know that this is not going to generate a lot of sympathy up North, but it was 62, raining and windy. We had hoodies not raincoats and once they soaked through it was like wearing a cold, wet blanket. The captain was great though and gave us a full six hours on Monday.

Good morning everyone. They are calling for freezing rain today and then it turning into snow. I hope they are wrong. I have things to do and I do not want to shovel anymore snow. I am ready for spring and sunshine! Covid numbers are coming down a lot where I live. I am hopeful that I can go back to work soon. I miss people and sharing my joy.

QOTD- I am going to say health and time.

Do you ever have those days when you wake up and just feel fat? I know that it's just in my head and I hate feeling this way. I feel like I keep losing and gaining the same 5 pounds. I look back at pictures of me a year after my surgery and I look so good. I don't know who to reach out to. The dietician at my surgeons office and I do not see eye to eye on things. She recommended fruit ****tail as an acceptable food after surgery. I need to just stick to lean protein and vegetables and keep my calories under 800 a day, carbs under 30. I also need to up my exercise. I miss my size 8 jeans. My husband and I also talked this weekend. I really want to move forward with my tummy tuck. I just feel like its so much money. My husband said, you know what? It's just money and we will make more! I think my extra skin really bums me out. I need to get this 15 lbs off, ideally 25 and get it done. This past year has been really hard for me emotionally and mentally. There have been so many changes in my life. I need to remember to be kinder to myself and remember how far I have come. I am thankful for this board and that I can share with people that feel the same way I am. Sorry for the rant. I hope I didn't overshare. This is just what is on my heart this morning.

So, food for today-

2 eggs with cottage cheese

canned chicken breast with siracha. I don't love it, but I bought it at Costco when the pandemic hit and it needs to be used

I am going to roast a chicken

boiled egg if needed for a snack. Lots of water today and hot tea. I will weigh and measure my food as I go today and tweak it where needed and input into my plate. I am also going to do the ellipical today and some weights.

Have a great day everyone. Be kind to yourself.

i compared plastic surgery to buying a car. You put out $40,000 and in a few years it is breaking down and you need a new one. You make the investment in your body and it is going to make you feel better for life.

There is a quote in Plastic Surgery for Dummies: Weight loss surgery gave me back my health, plastic surgery gave me back my self esteem.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends

that's how I thought of it. I've forked over thousands over the last 20 years to remodel two bathrooms, a family room, and add a three-season porch to my house. Isn't my body just as important? I love my flat stomach and my new boobs. I like my body better than I did when I was 20. Totally worth it!

" I need to just stick to lean protein and vegetables and keep my calories under 800 a day, carbs under 30. I also need to up my exercise. " This is definitely the way to do it. So it is not like you don't know what your doing. But please be kind to yourself. It has been a hard year and everyone has reacted differently. You can do it.

My insurance paid for skin removal of the stomach. Not anywhere else but just the tummy. It was actually approved when my RNY was approved. Did your surgeon not offer it to you after your 1 year anniversary? As long as you can prove it impedes on your mobility or health they should pay. Also if your skin breaks down from rubbing they should pay. Plastics is definitely a game changer I suggest it to everyone.

Good Morning all!
I made the viral tomato feta pasta last night with grilled chicken. It was so good. A small portion was very filling ... and easy ingredients- tomatoes, feta, olive oil, garlic, spices. I would definitely make again.

so signed up with a trainer yesterday to do like a two week trial of their program. I have worked with her before, I think she's good but we will see if I think it's worth it

Food:
- fair life latte, protein oatmeal
- smothered turkey sausage
- green smoothie
- Chicken and veggies tbd
- Snacks: raw veggies, rice cakes, Greek yogurt

Ex: yes. At- home workout
