What's on your (Tues) Menu?
ok starting this off quick before someone else posts also...
sorry I've been a little absent. I was sick with a suspected ulcer and was on liquids for a bit there- but will find out for sure on Friday when I get an endoscopy. The CT from last Friday showed no bowel blockage but nodules on my adrenal glands and they will have to check that out further to make sure its not the C word. Then last week I had insurance troubles which has led me to haul my butt back up to TN to get care covered... Its a lot of drama so I will just skip it... So I have to drive up after my 12 to TN again to get a covid test for the endo on Friday.
QOTD: Coffee or tea drinkers/ do you feel you drink more now after surgery or before. I think more now than before but I've always loved it. Just less creamer and sugar now.
Food today:
B: egg bites
b2: smart cake/yogurt
l: chicken /veggies
l2: something on the 'road'/ turkey breast?
d: turkey meatloaf/ green beans
s: probably cottage cheese
I sure hope your issues turn out to be relatively minor and resolvable. So sorry you are going through this.
Mike and I had a good visit with his long-term friends yesterday and are meeting mine tonight for dinner. This is the last of DH's closest friends to meet Mike and I am sure it will go well.
QOTD: I definitely drink and savor coffee way more than previously. I used to be a 1-2 cup drinker usually only consuming one at home and the extra when I arrived at my office. I mostly drank it for the caffeine wake-up. I am now a 3 cup drinker, after I cut back from 4 because I felt that was too much. I almost crave it in the morning, LOL.
TSS: 4 years, 10.5 months
B: Coffee!!! Eggs and cottage cheese
L: everroast chicken and laughing cow cheese
D: fish of some sort (out to dinner again)
S: nut thins and cottage cheese

I don't drink my first cup till I get to work and on the weekends I won't have one till after I exercise. This gets me to work on time and keeps me accountable for exercise on the weekends. That last little bit of my run I do is a sprint knowing there is coffee when I am done.

Good morning everyone! I hope you get some answers for your issues!
I hope that everyone is doing ok. Still thinking about Madisonrose and hoping she is doing ok.
It's still cold here. 4° currently. Supposed to have a chance for snow again today into tomorrow. Schools have canceled due to weather and rolling blackouts. I was supposed to get my second laser treatment today but I'm betting they are closed today too. Will call at 8 when they "open" to check.
qotd: less. I may have two cups a day but that's usually it. I still love it but it can give me heartburn at times.
b: oatmeal and coffee
l: split pea soup with chopped up ham steak
d: rinse and repeat lunch
s: popcorn, ???

Since you are 40, do you ever remember having a TV without a remote or cable box? When we were kids we used to argue about who had to get off the couch, walk across the room and turn the knob to switch channels.

I do remember. We had hand me down TVs so they were older. We rarely had cable. We don't have cable now and use streaming and basic tv...funny enough there is like 30 free channels now.
If it were up to me the TV would never be on. I've been known to hide remotes!

How about a Black and white TV. When I had one in my beauty salon in the 90's kids would come in and say there is something the matter with your TV and I would have to tell them it was just old. LOL

My college room TV was black and white. I think we got color in our house when I was in 8th or 9th grade.
