I feel that so hard. It's -8° F right now. Our all time record low is -16°. I'm over it. My body is over it.

How is everyone doing? I'm ok. My new depression med is making it easier to cry...apparently. LOL. Some times it's good to cry. My last one was the other way. I couldn't cry for most of anything emotionally. I'm a firm believer that crying is good sometimes.

No big plans. With the cold we are staying in. My poor little chihuahua is so cold she acts like she has a goat head in her paw. So we have to make her go out to potty.

qotd: who is the first person you'd like to hug that you can't currently as soon as we can safely do so?

Not a lot of people hug me but I miss my nieces and nephew hugs .

b: oatmeal and coffee

l: chicken tenders and stir fry veggies

d: ???

s: grapes, popcorn

have a good day everyone!

My sister would be the first. But sometimes I wonder if we will ever hug people again like we did before COVID. I used to hug everyone in the room.

Based on the number of people that complained last spring about how much more time washing their hands and cleaning things took, I will be much more selective for sure

I sadly agree. Nothing will ever be the same as before COVID. It's sad.

I don't find it sad, I find it sad that people didn't know how to wash their hands..now er all know to avoid them. That is a key learning.

The part that you mentioned for sure is not sad! One thing I am grateful for the COVID stuff is that it's shown some people to be totally nasty and so self important over others. It's shown a lot of true colors. So many are so selfish.

I don't like tbr behavior but I like that they've all shown who they are so I can eliminate them from my sphere.

I know, REALLY! I was always careful about washing my hands and avoided touching handles, doorknobs and railings not in my own home as much as possible. Probably why I never got the flu even before vaccines and rarely had a cold (unless I got it from my child as was the case with Covid). It amazes me that this is new to so many.
