Good morning! We are all set up at the campsite and grilled fish last night for dinner. But it's cold (and we are weenies) so we ate and hung out inside. Hoping to get a bunch of quote requests in and make the day fly. I was pretty much done by 2 yesterday, and the last two hours just dragged by. Other than that, I've got nothing exciting going on today.
QoTD: less thinking, more doing.
Menu:
B: chicken loaf, 1/4 C cottage cheese
L: roasted pork, kale salad
D: hamburger patty w/slice of cheese. Pork rinds
S: jerky/crisps if needed. Glass of red wine, 1 piece of chocolate if wanted
Peace Everyone!

I need to make a new focus on diet and exercise. I have been using the excuse that I am waiting on my new recumbent bike with iFit programming, but could do what Trish suggested and just walk in place. I have to do things by plan and always have to have a goal.
I had my first vaccine on Monday morning and felt great all day Monday. I woke up yesterday and felt really sick. Sweating, nausea, and really weak. Ended up taking the day off and mostly sitting on the couch watching the trial.
I am fine again today. It does make me dread the second vaccine in three weeks. I ordered the bike in September, it got cancelled in December due to COVID causing them to be so behind in production. I reordered in January and it is finally shipped and on its way. I joined Weigh****chers in January and have not done a thing with it.
In my defense, I did train for a new position in January and the training was intense. Eight hours a day of live training classes on Zoom and I was so tired at night I would sit on the couch for a minute and wake up hours later and go to bed.
But now I am employee tax expert Marym428 at Intuit and answer questions about TurboTax, financial planning, and all types of tax issues.

Good Morning,
tried to broaden my horizons and have some fish for dinner last night.. it lead to hours of vomiting and this morning my pouch feels kinda like it's burning and I'm so nauseous. Sipping on some water to see if it'll stay down. Little to say I took the day off today.
QOTD: I need to stop comparing my physician activity pre op to my post op physical activity. Pre op I was so active - 55min HIIT classes, followed by long walks, hiking.. you name it. Now I manage 20-30 minutes of yoga and/or light strength training.. it's hard but I know I'm still strong and just need to give it more time.
I don't really have a food menu today. Going to focus on getting as much protein in - with easy to digest things (yogurt, maybe some premiere) ..

Learning my new normal, one day at a time.
Oh the dreaded fish. I had problems with it at first. I never liked fish but thought I needed to add it to my diet cause it is a dense protein. Yeah I fell in that hole. So your pouch said Not Today!! Give it a month or 2 and try again. Took me 2 1/2 years to eat fish and scrambled eggs. But I was ok with tuna fish and eggs prepared any other way.
I was just like you with Exercise pre surgery. Take it easy on yourself you'll be back at it soon enough.

Good Morning Melody and menuers,
Hump Day!!! I like it better when Jen says it cause then we get the photo of the camel and it cracks me up every time.
I am doing more research on the Cricut vs the Shiloutte Cameo 4 plus and I am looking for an economical set of home grow lights. Again and imput would be greatly appreciated.
So the other day a lady post on next-door she was looking for a consignment shop to take clothes and I chimed in and said if they are size 6 and smalls I would be interested in a private exchange. So last evening she txt me pictures of what she had. Lots of Talbots some Ralph Lauren, Charter club. She went through ever piece at the end I picked up 7 items and 2 pieces were orange and she took $50 for it. If she wasn't dropping it off I probably would have offered $35 Then she drove to my house and dropped it off. I was very happy and didn't have to leave my lounge chair. (How did I do Supershopper?)
Still no vaccine scheduled for Mom they are saying tomorrow may be the day it opens up. Fingers crossed.
QOTD: I need to Murder my entire family. They are needy needy needy and I am there for them all the time. Don't know what I would do without them I love them all to death but wow that would really clear my plate.

The first dose of covid vaccine was in my arm as of 10 am this morning! So smooth getting an appointment and the vaccine here in Mike's part of Florida. People are still struggling in my county on the other coast.
We had a good dinner with friends from home last night and tonight have an international themed dinner outside at the clubhouse here. So nice to have things to do!
QOTD: What a thought-provoking question! I asked MIke and he said stop worrying so much about planned things happening on time. We were at our appointments 15 minutes early because he was so antsy. For me it might be trusting my instincts more. Or perhaps getting off my duff, weighing myself and watching my food more than I have lately.
TSS: 4 years, 10 months
B: Coffee!!! 1/2 English muffin with PB
L: southwest salad I think
D: internationsl dinner - maybe Indian?
S: nut thins and cottage cheese or almonds
