What's on your Wednesday menu?
on 2/10/21 4:13 am - Amarillo, TX
Good morning everyone. I hope that you're all doing ok.
No big plans for the day. We have a serious cold snap coming with a few days below zero around the weekend. Not looking forward to it at all! My body is hurting more so due to it. I have an appointment with my psychiatrist on the phone this afternoon. Looking forward to it in a way. I've not been doing all to good with my mental health so it's good I'll be talking to her.
qotd: What do you need to stop doing to make space for bigger changes?
for me it'd be forgiving myself and moving on. I tend to tear myself apart for mistakes and missteps.
b: just egg, turkey sausage crumbles, GF toast and coffee
l: not 100% sure yet...maybe a vegan protein shake with some strawberries and banana
d: cabbage with onion and some kind of protein...maybe sausage
s: popcorn, raspberries and grapes
Mel
Good morning!
QOTD - oooh this is a good one. And Melody, your answer is very telling. I'm still working on forgiving myself for many things, so that the little girl inside can heal. It's a journey. For now, I think my answer will be continuing to stop associating any foods with good or bad connotations. No food is bad, no food is good. It's not dirty eating or clean eating. I'm simply eating according to what my body is wanting at that time. For now, it is serving me well.
Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee, water
Lunch - I made more vegan fideo loco! Super excited. I will be having that, with a couple of corn tortillas and vegan cheese
Snack - apple with peanut butter
Snack - fruit smoothie
Dinner - maybe more fideo loco, with salad on side
Have a great day everyone!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Mornin' All!
I thought I had a really free day today and could get a lot of stuff done, but I was just reminded that I signed up for some things that I really should go to ("go to" as in turn on my laptop and fire up Zoom...). Plus I have so much reading for my classes - but then, since I'm an auditor, there's no consequences if I don't, but still, I'd like to get as much out of the classes as I can. So it'll be another somewhat busy day.
we're in the middle of that cold snap as well - below zero at night for several days - and day time highs only in the single digits (or teens on some days). It'll be around a few more days. Oh well, it's February, and I live in Wisconsin. What was I expecting?
QOTD: procrastinating. I'm very skilled at wasting time.
B: protein shake, coffee
MS: plain Greek yogurt with cranberry/cherry compote
L: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with blueberry sauce
AS: protein muffin or L&F yogurt with skinny bagel & light cream cheese
D: turkey salad
ex: I've discovered "Treadmill Traveler" (and similar running/walking videos) on youtube and discovered that I really like jogging and walking in place (I alternate between the two). I've "jogged" through London, Paris, Lisbon, and Madrid the past few days. I'll go somewhere else today...
have a great day, everyone!
Good Morning! Thanks for starting off this morning. How is it only Wednesday?! It's been a busy week and I finally have my first physical therapy appt tomorrow and I'm hoping to get some exercises that will help heal my foot/ankle.
QOTD: I need to stop feeling sorry for myself that I can't exercise how I want to. I've been throwing some pretty significant pity parties over it.
TSS: 6 years, 5 months
B: Sf latte, toast, Jimmy Dean scramble and a kiwi
L: chicken enchilada bake, salad, and a pear
S: TJ bacon cheddar cheese, yogurt, and a plum
D: Grilled steak, cauliflower with cheese sauce, sliced orange/ banana, and 2 squares dark chocolate
ES: Greek yogurt with 1/4 cup fiber cereal
E: none
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals: 1328 Protein:105 Carbs:111 Fat:61
Have a great one!
Good morning, everyone!
Great meme today. Yesterday I was on a Zoom call eating popcorn without realizing that I was on the screen, LOL. Usually I do try and at least shower, shave, wear a collared shirt, etc.
I need to get Marilyn and my youngest this morning, but it's only about a 45 minutes drive.
I made it into the pool yesterday, sorry Chrissy.
QOTD: get my youngest through High School
breakfast: protein bar
lunch: TBD
dinner: pizza
have a great day, all!
