One of my favorites for sure! I dated a guy from Michigan and he always wanted me to cook it when he was over here.

I just looked up peameal bacon - very intriguing! I bet it is only available in some parts of the country?

As far as I know peameal bacon is not found in the US. I'm in Ontario Canada but would guess you can find it anywhere in Canada.

Good Morning! Yesterday was a full day of comparing some spreadsheets, my brain was tired at the end of the day. I need to remember to wear my blue light blockers since they do seem to help with avoiding a headache at the end of the day. I did meet up with a friend for coffee at lunch, catching up after about three years on the patio at Starbucks was nice.

QOTD: In the evenings. I think mostly boredom and relaxing at the end of my day.

TSS: 6 years, 5 months

B: SF latte, Pear, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage

L: 1/2 ham sandwich, pudding, salad, and a honeycrisp apple

S: Mixed nuts, boiled egg, and yogurt

ES: Greek yogurt with ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: At home bar stretching

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1390 Protein: 113 Carbs:128 Fat: 54

Good morning! The tent is going on the house today and I can be past this chapter. Finally. So over it. We'll need to unpack when we get home next week, but that should go quick as I got rid of stuff as I packed and everything already has a home. Going to switch up one cabinet though. I'm vertically challenged, and the baking supplies seem ten feet off the floor. So we are switching that stuff to a low cabinet. No big deal.

I got a walk in yesterday, to the grocery store with my back pack for a few items, and then just puttered around all day. Stayed on track food wise, and enjoyed my piece of chocolate late evening.

QoTD: Definitely when I am bored. I have full conversations with myself about it. You are not even hungry. Stop thinking about crunchy stuff. Why don't you go take a walk? Drink a glass of water? Stop thinking about it!

Menu:

B: chicken loaf and 1/4 C cottage cheese

L: last of the chicken thigh with mushroom cream sauce

D: pan seared sea bass with lime and butter, small piece corn on the cob, 2 oz roasted potato

S: if needed, jerky/crisps. If wanted, 1 pc dark chocolate

Peace Everyone!
