Good morning, everybody!

I slept terribly last night. Well, at least until about 5:00 and then I went down to the couch and slept like a rock. Almost missed my 8:00 conference call. Today, I have to go through my meds and vitamins to make sure that I have enough to bring to Florida. I think that I am low on calcium, so will need to go pick up some chews.

QOTD: Probably go to see my Mom and my sisters. After that, I have a long list of places that I would like to visit. We are tentatively scheduled to go to Europe this fall, but I don't think its going to happen. We have a flight credit that is expiring and I think if we are precluded from going, it will shame the airline into extending the period.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and Cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

lunch: Mahi burger

Snack: nuts

Diner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

I also have a credit expiring this fall that I will probably have to shame them into extending too. I have credits in several places and I have been thinking I should keep a list with the expiration dates so I don't forget any of them.

I hope Florida starts staying warm for you. We get a few warm days, then twice as many cool ones. But we still can get out and NO SNOW!

We are trying to do something similar after my blunder with the Nordstrom Notes last month. Of course everything has a password/user name that I don't know.

it's going to be close to zero this weekend so even mediocre Florida weather will feel good.

Good morning everyone. I feel like this has been the longest week ever. I am headed into town today to grocery shop. It's an hour each way. My daughter works half days on Wednesday, so I will go see her.

QOTD- This fall will be my 25th wedding anniversary. I would really like to go to Sedona Arizona.

I feel like I have been struggling with food lately. I just feel hungry and want to eat all the things. It's the hardest when I am at home. I think not working for the past 11 months has taken a toll on me. I am also not a winter person. January is my least favorite month. Each day just blends into the next. There have been so many changes in my life this past year. I am still adjusting to being an empty nester. My son received orders last week and he will be headed to Norfolk Virginia next month. And then who knows where after his schooling. I know that it's a good thing and my kids are doing wonderful things, but I am struggling with my emotions and letting go. I am going to reach out to my counselor and go see her.

Food plan for today-

Cottage cheese and eggs

chicken skewer or chef salad

I have a package of hamburger that I need to cook. I was thinking of making taco meat and mixing into some cauli rice.

I'll have a chomps in the car if I need a snack.

Being a sudden empty nester is a lot. My trailed away slowly (then DS returned during Covid).

Sedona is on my list for the future as well, combined with the Grand Canyon.

Good Morning Liz and Menuers,

Wow Liz you were hitting all the bells I was ringing this morning. 2 weeks in and I still can not get my Mom an appointment for her vaccine. I do the round every morning calling, waiting in online in virtual lines to find out there is nothing available. This is a **** show why do they not have there acts together after knowing it was coming.

So Mom duty wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and while waiting to pick her up from bowling I was able to make my curry chicken dinner. I have to admit it won't be on my rotation of foods I will be making. After a few bites it got better. I will eat the left overs and throw the recipe away.

My new fitness center is offering a one time chance to bring a friend for free so I think my old workout partner is going to take advantage of it and check out the facility. I scheduled us a Barre class for tomorrow evening so fingers crossed it goes well.

QOTD: I just want to go anywhere. Last year this week we were in ***** Cana. I would love to go back to Costa Rica and get some fishing it actually.

Accountability: I had sugar free Jell-O with bananas in it and I topped it with plain yogurt and a little whipped cream and a handful of peanuts.

Accountability: Banana and nuts.

TSS: 3 years 1 Months and 23 days 133 (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with sugar free Aldi hazelnut creamer

MS: Premier Strawberries and cream Protein and berries

CB: Coffee with sugar free Aldi hazelnut creamer

L: , Chicken salad and snack selects.

D: Burger stuffed with Pimento cheese spread and bacon.

Exercise: 50 minute tread mill (DONE)

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium.

Everybody have a Great day..

Brightest Blessing

Good luck getting an appointment for your Mom. Apparently every state is different. I was on a zoom call a while ago and heard that in Iowa it is all very orderly and people are getting vaccinated within a couple of weeks of requesting it. Friends here who live in Iowa half the year are wishing they had stayed home until the end of January because they probably would have it by now. Florida and Massachusetts are not so great.

Funny you mentioned Barr.... I ordered a bar the other day that should arrive Friday. I need something to do and I thought that something new and fun would keep me engaged while I can't do my running.
