What's on your (Monday) Menu?
good morning! A little late start for me, but earned. I've done my PT exercises and a 45 minute "feel the burn" yoga video. And yup, my thighs feel the burn. I'm planning on a walk in a couple hours and stopping by our local library to get a card. I'm in a catch 22 with them. I have a number, but it's only digital. I want to check out some new cook books, but I can't do that without a card. They don't allow you inside the library, and only have "door" hours a couple a day. I need to get a physical card to reserve books to check out during their door hours. So it's been a dance. Hoping to be successful today. Then I can reserve a couple hard copy books and pick them up. I've decided to stop buying them since the last one I bought I actually only wanted to make one thing out of it. I'll take any suggestions anyone might have!
QOTD: Lasagna. Preferably with a Bechamel sauce.

Hi all. Just checking in. Still feeling pretty miserable. Waiting on a call back from the ENT. Not sure how much longer I can go on like this. To top it all off I've been having a really bad migraine and still pretty nauseous. I'm working on getting FMLA now since I've already missed so much work. Been living off of crushed ice and sweet tea with Splenda. I did manage to get down a few spoonfuls of potato soup yesterday my mom made me. I'm hungry, yet I have an appetite if that makes any sense. I'm down to 143.8. So I guess I've finally reached goal.
QOTD: lasagna
No meal plan today.....just more crushed ice and tea. Maybe some more soup and maybe some ice cream to soothe the throat.
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
We've been worried about you. Don't stress if you gain a few as you recuperate that's part of healing.

Good morning! February is here already. I know it is cold and snowy up north but it is sort of windy and cool in Florida too (sorry). It is supposed to warm again by the end of the week.
Mike and I had another great weekend together and visited on Saturday with some friends of his from many years ago. They were thrilled to see him and told me what a great guy he always was. Nice to hear it though I more or less was pretty sure of it. But they did tell me some about some things he was known for when young which he tends to downplay. Interesting. He left this morning though I will drive to his place on Wednesday afternoon. Our 6 month anniversary is Thursday.
QOTD: I used to love pasta (still do in very small quantities), so that is a difficult one for me. Spaghetti was my favorite birthday meal as a child because my father made it ( and he didn't make the others). I think it is a toss-up now between spaghetti and ravioli, but in both cases the sauce has to be fantastic.
TSS: 4 years, 10 months
B: Coffee!!! Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese
L: leftover sushi
D: leftover crab cake, asparagus and a small amount of risotto
S: nut thins and cottage cheese, WW one point muffin
