Good morning everyone!

I'm feeling ok today. The itchiness is driving me bonkers. The binder is really ramping up my anxiety. BUT the pain is still a lot better. We upped it up a point yesterday and it helped get the percentage up to around 65%. I'm extremely happy with that number. Still having pain but it's so so much more bearable. There is pain from the leads but it's barely there. I can't wait to get it off in a way...the itchiness is really intense but then I love the pain relief.

Food hasn't been fantastic but I was actually down 2 pounds so I'll take it. I've been good about the food allergies though. I resisted lemon bars and cookies yesterday. Also everyone had hamburgers and I had gluten free and dairy free tamales. I forgot I had some in the freezer. So good!

No big plans for the day.

qotd: lasagna...veggie lasagna!

b: just egg, gf toast, chicken sausage and coffee

l: hamburger stew

d: ???

s: popcorn, applesauce and maybe a chai tea

I itch like cray from surgical tape, and any opiates. My old surgeon told me to take some Benadryl when I'm itching. Just regular Benadryl. He told me this would help not only with itching but also with nausea due to opiates. Benadryl makes me sleepy, but when I was recovering from a surgery, getting enough sleep was important anyway.

As for antibiotics - I am now on 2 weeks course of them and I added some digestive enzymes when I eat heavier meals. I try to eat a lot of cooked stews, something my body can digest easier that other things.

I know that after I finish the antibiotics I would have to take a bunch of probiotics to restore proper gut flora.

I hope the stimulator is going to help you. Also, based on your comments, it seams like you have a good rep from the company that make them.

Good luck.

BTW: in case you don't know - I was buying and using Benadryl generic cream for itching after the tape was removed. Greet for any wounds that itch as they heal. For me it was better than a cortisone cream.

Mornin' All!

No Mah Jongg today since I have a dentist appt this morning. Nothing else on the agenda except for exercise and a ton of reading - both for my classes and for a book that's due at the library this week. We got the storm that Jim got down in the Chicago area (Saturday night through Sunday morning), but we were on the northern edge of it so we only got about 3" (thankfully - since our snowblower is still in the shop). Some Ohio friends posted about the storm last night on FB, so it's on its way east - probably hitting those of you on the East Coast today??

QOTD: lasagna for sure - either turkey or veggie

B: pumpkin Fit Frappe, coffee with half & half

MS: lemon/blueberry yogurt pie

L: chocolate "mousse" (made with cottage cheese, protein powder, fake sugar, and unsweetened cocoa (I also had to add some unsweetened almond milk to get it going in the blender)) topped with 2 T light Cool Whip and raspberries

AS: skinny bagel with whipped cream cheese, L&F yogurt

D: turkey chili

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning SuperShopper and Menuers,

Sounds like we had the same kina weekend. I made Keto pizza crust and Friday I went to put it on the grill. I went upstairs real quick to pee and by the time I got back it was burnt to a crisp. Just glad I had made 2 crust so I still had another to make for dinner. Saturday I did my Crazy 8 hit class it was absolutely packed for 7:00am on a Saturday morning. I went home made a Praline cheesecake and put it in the freezer in case I have a few people over for the Super bowl on Sunday. And yesterday I ran on the treadmill and Made DH these huge carrot cake cookies I saw on TikTok. Matter of fact everything I cooked yesterday I learned on Tictok. I scored chicken breast to make little canals to put stuff in. I stuffed them with peppers onions and tomatoes, Then I drizzled them with a little olive oil and Italian seasoning and sprinkled them with Gruyere cheese. This is my new favorite recipes and we had a side of bacon wrapped roasted cabbage that I now absolutely love.

QOTD: I would choose Ravioli also because there are so many variations. I love the lower carb ones I got from Aldi.

Accountability: Considering how much time I spent in the kitchen I can't say I did to bad. Nothing off plan just maybe a few to many calories.

TSS: 3 years 1 Months and 21 days 133.2 (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with sugar free ID caramel Macchiato

MS: Premier Chocolate Protein shake and berries

Everybody have a Great week.

Brightest Blessing

Chrissy
