What's on your (Monday) Menu?

hi all

how was the weekend? Saturday I did some retail arbitrage at a local shop for resale so scored some amazing clothing. Can't wait to get that ready to list. sunday I meal prepped and did online stuff. took some self improvement session classes and those were interesting.

QOTD: what shows are you watching now? We got Netflix back again so I've been watching call the midwife and DH and I have been watching the last kingdom. Then I googled the history as we were watching it. its been good. then we watch news, then for a lighter mood we rewatch schitts creek episodes. man that show is sooo funny and I have a HUGE crush on dan levy.

Food plan

b: protein ball, egg whites. lite laughing cow cheese, 1/2 low carb pita

coffee!

b2: unsure this usually ends up an early lunch

l: stir fry and shrimp. so I got the wok too hot and didn't burn the shrimp but they are all smoked up? so they taste burned but aren't. anyway there are about 6 left so im not tossing them.

d: made DH chicken rice, I will probably have more stir fry with egg whites added for fried rice or turkey?

s: 1/2 apple pbfit?

Good morning all! Ugh I've been so miserable and my doctor can't see me today....the best they can do is tomorrow afternoon. Just don't know how much longer I can go on like this. It's hard to even make it out of bed. I forced myself to get in the shower last night, but felt as if I was gonna pass out. Just can't seem to get any relief from my sore throat and my temperature keeps going up and down. It was back to normal last night and then this morning it's back up. Sigh

QOTD: I haven't really been watching any shows, but I did watch The Vanishing last night. It was a pretty good movie.....though I was disappointed with the ending. I may try to watch Night Stalker next. It looked pretty good. It will probably freak me out though.

Don't really have much of an appetite and it hurts to swallow.

did you watch the original version? I think it was Belgian. That one is FANTASTIC - way better than the Hollywood remake. The remake was a joke...

Edited to add that I just looked up the country the original version came from - and it was the Netherlands - so Dutch. HOWEVER, I just realized there is more than one movie with that title. The Dutch one, the awful Hollywood remake, and then that one that came out in 2018 about the people in the lighthouse - totally unrelated to the first two. Yes - I saw that one, too. It was WEIRD! Not sure I liked it.

Thank you! I have a virtual appointment with another doctor at 1:15 today. No doctor will let me come in since I'm running a fever. I hate that I wasn't able to get in with my normal doctor who is in network with my insurance, but I'm willing to pay extra to get relief NOW!

Hope they can do something and quickly!
