Good Friday morning!
I got some great news yesterday. My trial for the stimulator was approved!

qotd: what are you looking forward to this weekend?
relaxing!
b: just egg, chicken sausage, gf toast and coffee
l: country style ribs and a small salad
d: maybe ribs again or beans
s: popcorn, fruit and ???
Mel
wow! Great news on your stimulator, Melody! I'm so happy for you!!!
I have Mah Jongg this morning and then an online wine & cheese party around dinner time. They are having a cheese person talk about French cheeses - and participants could buy an optional cheese tray from her store with samples of all the cheeses she's going to discuss tonight. I didn't spring for that - but I did buy a bag of "brie bites" that I spotted at Aldi's the other day. They're in single serving containers, which is great. I'll have a couple of them tonight - along with a couple of Laughing Cow wedges. That way I should be able to control my calories AND not worry about having half a wheel of brie rot in my refrigerator. Win!
Not much else going on today. It's going to be REALLY cold through the weekend, so I doubt I'll get out much - if at all.
QOTD: I guess the Zoom wine & cheese party tonight. Nothing else going on..
TSS: 5y7m
B: Greek yogurt with 1/2 diced mango
MS: Fit Frappe
L: WW lemon/blueberry yogurt pie
AS: ? Probably L&F yogurt and 1/2 protein muffin (or else L&F with a skinny bagel with light cream cheese)
D: ****er crackers with 4 servings of cheese (brie and/or Laughing Cow)
ex: some kind of cardio. I found some great Zoom videos by a woman in Australia who does all kinds of fitness things - but I really like her walking videos, especially. She's very high energy and plays great music!
P.S. I've started thinking again about getting a face/neck lift since I'm tired of looking like I'm 80 years old. But sheesh....super expensive (of course, my body contouring was super expensive, too, so....). I don't know if I'll end up springing for it or not. It's going to be a lot more than what I though. Ugh.
Melody glad you got good news and love the kitty pics.
QOTD: I do not really have a plan for this weekend. Still plugging away at getting house together. Bought a bed - headboard/footboard from Wayfair for second bedroom so am going to try and put that together.
Food:
- broccoli cheese crustless quiche
- teriyaki chicken and veggies
- watermelon, cottage cheese, rice cake
- Dinner tbd
Ex: At home weightlifting

Good morning, everybody!
My son is doing school online until the school goes 100% back. But for some reason, he had to go to school in-person today as part of the transition. I don't really understand why. He was online before and will be online next semester. I also don't understand why this semester starts in February but last semester started in August if they get out in May.
Be that as it may, we trundled off into the cold at 7:05 to go to one of his two in-person days during Marilyn's absence. I thought about going to the 7:30 class at the gym, but between the cold and the Miralax post-prandial period, I decided that Crossfit will still be there at 10:00.
Tonight we are having fancy ****tails for our weekly online happy hour. So far, it has required two trips to the package store and one to the supermarket to get all of the ingredients. The good thing is that since I don't really like ****tails, I won't drink very much and will feel fresh tomorrow for QOTD.
The bad news is I have nowhere to store all this crap. The likelihood that I will drink two different kinds of vermouth in the future is very low.
QOTD: Tomorrow is my gymnastics class, hopefully putting me on the road to handstand pushups. Otherwise staying warm, reading and watching football on Sunday. Monday I will be halfway through my winter stay in the north.
Breakfast: protein bar
Lunch: Chili
Dinner: Hello Fresh (Chicken Schwarma bowls)
Have a great day, all!

the university here is starting at least a week later than usual this spring. The reason being is they're not doing a spring break this year, probably because they don't want the students running off to Florida and bringing the virus back to them. The semester ends at the same time as usual - but they schedule graduations something like five years in advance, so it's probably easier for them to start later than to end earlier. I know your son is in high school, so they may have different reasons for starting late -- but that's the rationale up here..
