That first salad with a huge spear of asparagus? What's that about?! Hahaha I love asparagus but I'd cut it up a bit for salad. I'm with you guys...a salad never made me this happy lol.
So yesterday ended horribly. I had what felt like an avalanche of panic and anxiety attacks. It was just awful. Not even sure what brought it on. I know I have a lot going on. Also, the psych evaluation today might be part of it. I'm a little afraid of the stimulator process(more afraid of the pain). Just all this swirling around in my pea brain...it overwhelmed me yesterday. Honestly it's still here in me but much more subdued. Need to push through it. Food was awful yesterday.
my mom has plans for after my appointment but I don't know what all. We are going to try to get a vaccine dose Tuesday. We both should qualify. I want to wait for age reasons but my family says they don't want to see me get it(COVID) with my back messed up. They are worried about me. It promises to be hard on my back with the waiting and sitting.
qotd: getting the week done! I have an appointment everyday but Friday. Tomorrow I have my license/ID renewal. Wednesday and Thursday I get a shot in the eyes.
b: ju.st egg, toast, plant based butter and coffee...may add a tbs of reduced sugar jam
l: protein shake with strawberries
d: Mexican food leftovers.
s: popcorn, ???

I wonder if the can give you something calming for the MRI.
I hate MRIs because they are very uncomfortable on my back. Laying still on the hard narrow table is like a torture, and you can't move. I go to get them by myself, so I can't take a pain pill before. Often, by the time they are done, it would take me a couple of hours for my back to stop spasming.
I only had on that the table was softer and they gave me an additional pad under my pelvis, and pillows under my knees. That wasn't too bad.
Goo luck. I hope everything goes smoothly.

Thank you! I am also not looking forward to the table. My MRI in December of 2019 was very very painful. Staying still when you're in pain is hard!
thanks again :o)

DH is getting through his trial with flying colors. Do not be afraid he was in there for less than 2 hours and I could already see the relief he was getting as soon as he exited the building. I'll keep you updated but so far so good. Not as bad as he thought it would be.

I think of asparagus as a finger food...at home at least!

Good morning everyone. It has been a wonderful weekend and it's still going. My husband has a 3 day weekend. I weigh in on Mondays. I am down 6 pounds and it feels great to be on track. I am keeping my calories under 1000 and it's working.
QOTD- I am looking forward to getting my hair cut and colored on Thursday. I have decided to cut it off. I have tried having long hair and I just don't think I am a long hair person. I feel like I always have it up in a messy bun. I am going to do a textured bob style that frames my face. I am not sure of the color yet. I am ready for a change.
Food for today-
sharing an omelet with my hubby ( eggs, ham, green onion, mushrooms, red bell pepper, spinach)
tuna with siracha
Rosemary lemon chicken, broccoli
Today is going to be dry. I am looking forward to a walk and doing some yardwork. Have a great day everyone.
Great job!
