What's on your Thursday menu?
Good morning, everybody!
I think that we are supposed to get snow today. Other than making sure that i run my errands in the morning, I'm not sure it makes that much difference in quarantine world.
My youngest announced yesterday, that he wanted to buy pants. I think that the gym shorts in February years may be coming to a close. My older son has already moved on to jeans.
Last week I cut my thumb while cooking and yesterday it was itching like crazy. I remember reading that it means it is healing, but I can't remember why. Sure enough, it is almost completely healed today and the itching stopped.
QOTD: did we have one?
Breakfast: omlette
Snack: protein bar
Lunch: Hamburger
Dinner: Hello Fresh
Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Supershopper and Menuers,
I have heard that the second vaccine has ben more uncomfortable than the first dose with just about everybody who has taken it. But when I think back my second dose of the shingle shot and pneumonia shot were both more intense so I guess this could be expected. Here is a meme for us today.
Today is my Friday because I am taking DH to have his Stimulator trial tomorrow. I am being very optimistic that this will help him. I am so done with seeing him in constant pain.
Accountability: I drank more than I usually do and added some Mio to water and had a Gatorade 0 to help combat the leg cramps.(no cramps so I will keep this up) Instead of going to the bag Of M&M's I made myself some Apple nachos. My weight is still up but I am just hoping it is hydration my body needs.

Good morning! Hoping to get my work wrapped up and out of here a bit early. We are driving over to a friend's in Arizona. He is totally isolated, WFH, groceries delivered, the whole nine yards -- so I feel like this is a great place to get some socializing in.
I stayed on plan yesterday, though I did need to add a bit of protein mid day and I choose 6 cheese whisps. Pushed me over the hump until dinner time.
Menu:
B: 2 oz roasted chicken, 1/4 C cottage cheese, everything seasoning
L: Leftover Chipolte's chicken and cauliflower rice, quest protein chips
D: on the road, so I have beef jerky, whisps and protein chips to eat. Due to covid, we'll probably swing through fast food for the hubs and I don't want to worry about what that might do to my stomach on a long road trip!
Peace Everyone!

Happy Thursday everyone. Super late post but doing it for accountability. I'm so glad it's almost the weekend. This week has now been 30494 days long. I have to go for an MRI on my hip and hoping I don't have a tear. It didn't hurt before my accident and it's almost unbearable now, but my doctor said it could be the start of arthritis. Fun times.
My plan:
B: fairlife latte and 3 strips of bacon
L: leftover meatloaf with parm as a binder
D: unknown. Parking lot spin tonight so I may pick up something on the way back
S: Pear and likely an iced coffee before spin
E: Throwback thursday parking lot spin.
I twisted my right hip really badly in 2006 (?) in a bad winter fall (I'm sure weighing over 300 lbs at the time didn't help). It's never completely bounced back. Before I lost all the weight I got cortisone shots every three months - haven't had one in years because the pain is pretty minor now, but yea - I've had MRI's and it's definitely very arthritic. Sorry to hear this happened to you - any lower body pain is awful!!! (even if it's eventually only minor pain, still, it can limit your walking. For example, I walk out of alignment now because of it, so I can't go for long distances) - I should shut up before I make you feel worse!
