What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Definitely! I rewatched Monsters Inc over the holidays. Maybe it is one of them?!?!

Mornin' All!
we're supposed to get some kind of precipitation tomorrow (what kind is going to depend on the temp), so I'll need to do whatever involves leaving the house today. All I have today is my online Mah Jongg game at 10:00, plus I have GOT to exercise (never did do it yesterday, despite my intentions), so I've got plenty o' time...
I made cold start yogurt last night. Worked fabulously well (it's chilling in the basement fridge right now - will drain later if it needs it, but it looks pretty rock solid to me - moreso than when I do it the other way). Super easy - although I wish Fairlife was cheaper, since doing it this way is a lot more expensive. I'll check Aldi's today and see if they have a cheap Fairlife-equivalent. Otherwise, the other way isn't all that hard - but this is a lot quicker!
accountability: calories were OK yesterday, but I'm up a full pound this morning. But that's due to fact that I had instant miso soup last night to keep myself from snacking. All that sodium makes me retain water like crazy - which'll keep me from eating, but it means a bunch of water weight for a day or two afterward. Hopefully it'll be gone tomorrow (should be..)
QOTD: I don't notice it much anymore, but yes. People don't stare anymore, and men pay more attention to me.
TSS: 5y7m
B: plain Greek yogurt with blueberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: egg whites scrambled with cottage cheese, onions, and bell pepper
AS: L&F yogurt, maybe a skinny bagel with light cream cheese
D: sushi (??) (although that means more water retention - so maybe not!)
ex: strength training and cardio (behind on both...)
have a great day, everyone!
Mernin' y'all.
QOTD - it's been a while, but I think I have to agree with Jenn, the medical community is the one that treated me differently the most. I've always been pretty sassy.
Breakfast- fasting, so hot black coffee and water
Lunch - leftover papas guisadas with vegan cheese tacos
Snack -apple and peanut butter
Snack - fruit smoothie
Dinner - leftover pasta with salad, veggies and rolls
Have a great day y'all!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Good morning! I was up at 3:45 am. For no good reason, so I made myself get up at 4 and do a yoga video. Concentrated on hips, hip flexors, quads. Still working on stretching out the pain from last Friday's video, so I feel like this was a good choice as it was concentrated in the same areas as the pain. I feel accomplished that I have that out of the way. Quick shower and I'm into work extra early today. 6 am and 30 emails already. Going to be a busy day ahead.
I got pretty lucky -- I already have very fine hair, but lots of it. I didn't lose too much. I had prepped as much as I could by taking liquid Biotin for months pre surgery, and started using Nioxin shampoo and conditioner at about 60 days out. I'm not sure if it helped, but don't think it could have hurt.
I made it 24 + hours without a snack. I concentrated on protein for my 3 meals yesterday and I got in extra fluid. That's the plan for today.
QoTD: I don't really think so. But I lost almost all my weight in a pandemic world, so even now, many of my friends have not seen the new smaller version of me. When they do, they seem to all ask if I have been sick. I tell them no and then they are excited for my new me. I haven't been to bars or restaurants or out dancing or anything really to see if things are different. I also am in a cocoon world. My work people see me everyday and don't think anything of my weight loss. I think if I were out in the field or in a public customer service job where I interreacted with strangers more, I might have a different opinion.
Menu:
B: 2 ounces roasted chicken, 1/4 C cottage cheese with everything but the bagel seasoning
L: left over Chipolte's chicken with their new cilantro lime cauliflower rice. Costs more, is more "wet" then regular rice, but very yummy!
D: 2 baby back ribs, 2 oz small potatoes, salad
Peace Everyone!

I forgot that initial meeting when people first asked if I had been sick, then congratulated me on losing the weight.
