What's on your Wednesday Menu?
wow you are doing so well!
QOTD: I like to switch my routine up when I am starting to feel overwhelmed or burnt out. when I get really stressed I don't sleep and then I everything suffers- I eat poorly, etc. Pre covid it was much easier to have a change in scenery but not as much home bound.
last night I didn't over-snack which was great. I drank a huge glass of warn water before bed.
Food plan today:
B: coffee
chicken sausage/egg whites
b2: 2 hb egg whites/smart cake
L; chicken soup
d:TBD was thinking either more soup or chicken hot dog?
s: unsure
Another somewhat cool day in Florida, but still MUCH better than being in Massachusetts! I am listening to the news about how the systems to handle Covid vaccine distribution are JUST NOW being set up. They had months to plan - I just don't get why they didn't have things ready to go! Enough on that rant, but as a former project planner it just baffles me.
I have nothing much going on today other than my usual morning walk and a zoom with friends mid-day. Everyone wears masks on our walk after I scared them all by getting Covid back in November.
I stayed on plan yesterday and wasn't too bad Monday so I am feeling like I at least have a start on getting the recent regain off.
QOTD: I make lists and prioritize them. By prioritizing them and addressing the items in that order I feel in control and it is easier to identify the things that just aren't so important and can wait for a bit. My project planning background again...

Learning my new normal, one day at a time.
Good Morning! JB- wishing you the best of luck that the rest of the month goes as smooth as possible for you. Take the best care of yourself that you can.
Accountability: Horrible after dinner and throughout the night even though I needed to take a rest day on exercise today.
QOTD: I'm definitely not strong in that category. I was burnt out long before I was laid off and I hadn't accepted that.

Good morning menu friends!
Rough kind of night physically. Woke up to my cat Percy standing on the side of my chest. Ugh that boy is rotten. LOL. My own doing of course.
I want to thank y'all again. The thoughts behind yesterday really made me feel special. Less lonely and more appreciated. I can't thank you enough for the morale boost. It was very much needed...just the knowledge that people care. I'm just blown away! It's so easy with depression and chronic pain to be isolated. To let yourself sink into an abyss of just eck.
Today I have a phone appointment with the NP at the bariatric surgeons office. I like him a lot so it should go well. Other than that I'm going to cook a roast in the instant pot. Looking forward to that. I've only used it for beans, soups and cabbage.
qotd: I'm not one to give advice for this...LOL. I feel like I'm in a constant state of burn out.
b: egg, chicken sausage, GF toast, reduced sugar strawberry spread and coffee!
l: ???
d: roast, 1/2 potato and about a cup or less of carrots
s: protein snack, popcorn.
have a good day everyone!
