Good morning, Happy New Year! Happy Monday...?

QOTD - I don't track. Hear me out. I've been on a diet (self imposed) since I was 11. I've been fat, been skinny, been every weight in between and like most of you know it's f*cking exhausting and I'm over it. I had life changing surgery 11 years ago and I am JUST now finally starting to be in tune with what works for my body. The past couple of years I started listening to it. But I actually did try tracking it over the weekend and it was really something else. I used MFP because I think that's the most popular one. Something happened. My head was so concerned with everything I put in my mouth, I ended up really under eating and only had like 900 calories for the day. That was weird. It threw everything off. So, back to the no tracking and just sort of eating what feels good and nourishing. Sometimes its 3 smoothies packed with kale and oatmeal and chia, and somedays it's vegan junk food with an apple thrown in. Even now, 11 years out, I am a work in progress. I am trying!

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee, water

Lunch - leftover soyrizo with potatoes, kale, vegan cheese on a tortilla

Snack - fruit smoothie, frozen fruit, kale, almond milk, chia seeds, turmeric oil, maple syrup (to cut the bitter)

Snack -cosmic crisp apple with peanut butter, pepitas with dried fruit

Dinner - No clue, nothing planned

Trying is half of the battle in my opinion. We are ALL works in progress in one way or another. (hence my nickname)
